Haha I'm off to the T-Mobile store tomorrow morning.
I'm in Preston! I'm off to the Arndale tomorrow, though. I'm hoping I get my phone before I set off, the UPS depot is a 2 minute drive (and 3 left turns) from mine!
That's what mine says. "Hinckely" but on the Business Post link I gave you mine says "Burgess Hill" which isn't far from me
Other posters are reporting the same thing in their areas.

much better deals and much better service =^.^=Give it to around 2 or 3 am and it will suddenly move really quickly! Probably racing the UPS van by the M40/M1 carrying mine from Tamworth!

Just a side note. I've never really posted on these forums until this launch, and posting in this thread the whole week has been quite an experience (as sad as it sounds). Hopefully this stays pinned and we can all keep in conversation once we've got our phones! I personally am looking forward to teasing all the people who have got to wait til October

I agree, DPD are fantastic in my area, the only company that gives a time slot of a hour and always comes up trumps!
I would imagine that regent street street will be a nightmare...you would be queuing for ages. How about T-Mobile HQ in Hatfield, I have heard there is a store on campus that is open to the public
Ooo I have movement! Mine has just been scanned in to Teesside. Tells me the name of the scanner too! And when it's out for delivery, I'll know the van drivers name haha.

I did phone Orange again and got through to a much more helpful operator than the one I spoke to earlier who practically laughed in my face and didn't offer to look up anything. I have a reference number for UK Mail, although nothing shows on their website when I enter it yet, which the Orange employee suggested that it's probably a recent addition, making Saturday delivery likely.
That's fine, I have no problem with that. A little less condescension and I'm happy.
Northern Ireland Delivery
Have you signed up to UPS text updates? I'm getting mine delivered to Downpatrick and according to the UPS tracking website there has been nothing since it was checked into Tamworth however I signed up to the text updates and within 5mins I had an update that's it was again in transit.
This was at 5.32 and its now 9.00 and the 5.32 update is still not on the UPS tracking page. Is anybody else like this???
I'm jealous of everyone who's getting there's tomorrow!
Also my pure excitement that's been building all week for tomorrow is gone ....
Seriously, Northern Ireland is in zone 1 so I expected it tomorrow as it said on the apple website .... It's been on 21st Sep as delivery date all week up until this lunch time!
It's not even like I'm out in the country areas of N.I or the harder to reach areas, I'm right in Belfast .. urgh!
So much for getting my order in at 8.05am ... I should have just waited and queued up at the store ...
I mean, they know they have to deliver to Northern Ireland, they know the logistics of that and they stated the 21st, so why can't they plan properly and get it here when they said they would!..
I feel sorry for those that didn't make it early enough for the first batch, but gosh I was in at 8.05am and I'm in one of the capital cities in the UK ..
P.S - there was me getting excited at UPS delivering it too cos last time I had Yodel and it was awful lol

I went there today to try and get a nanosim, they didn't know much. Didn't know how many sims they were getting in or how many iPhones.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't take out new contracts with phones at the Apple store in the UK can you? Isn't that US only?

Not sad at all, love the launches and I always feel more unity between people around these than I do for things like royalty events (weddings and the such) or even Olympics etc. Now that's got to be sad!
Did you go for Black/Slate? I went for White since iP4 and wanted Black now so that people will be able to see its the 5. Yes, I am that shallow... But with the white, if your holding it it would look like the 4 so to me just not as fun to get all the kiddies on the train point and mutter between themselves. Mind you, wasn't as funny as original iPad I got imported from day one from USA which was months before UK, everyone was pawing over me those months!
