Honestly think they rushed to get this out because iOS 6 wouldn't have been much without it.I'm in So'ton too... one is coming via UPS stuck in Tamworth, the other is still awaiting collection according to UK Mail... business post says it's collected though
erghh mine is just 3 miles away from were i live!! So tempted to just smash into uk mail and just take my phone haha, should be here by tomorrow midday seeing as i've got premier 24!
Mine from Burgess Hill to Worthing is 18.9 mi, 34 mins away!

The Tracking info states its at "Walsh Western" however mine also has the bit

I am pretty sure that means "Destination" not where it is. Hence the (D)?.
Location is most definatley "Walsh Western", Think you are confused by what he means. Location does not say Newcastle for me it says "Walsh Western" The bit he is talking about is at the top above the tracking info.
Anyone think I should be able to go in mid afternoon and pick up iPhone 5 from my local 02 store or do you think it will be sold out?

I reckon it'd be sold out but who knows? If everyone thinks it'll be sold out no one will turn up and there will be plenty of stock. If I was you, call the store before you leave to check then you'll know for sure.

You are looking at the wrong tracking info then.
That in no shape or form says "location"
the location is below that in the ACTUAL tracking information.
If you look at the UKMail site it has a similar layout and the part you are using to say is where it is located is around where they list the "destination" also the big D sort of hints at it.

FYI walked past the apple store regent street and there was a huge queue of around 200 people and the queue stretched halfway round the block! (Although they were very spaced out and had a lot of stuff with them). Security looked like they were preparing for ridiculously long queues come the early morning. Store opens 8am.

Not on mine it's not. It's very clear. Of course Burgess hill is the destination because it's shipped from there to me. UK Mail have already collected it.
Someone telephoned UK Mail earlier to find out, and they were given the exact same information. The Packages are being held in location / areas close to where they will be delivered tomorrow.
Who did you call three? They said they wouldn't give me one. Didn't take any of my information just bluntly refused. Should I try again tomorrow?

I think most of the packages have been sent out to the local couriers. I've had several people using UK Mail tell me that they haven't updated the site and most likely won't until hours after the packages have gone out for delivery
Yes, they are quite likley on the move, but if it has not updated then it has not reached your location yet. Also if yours does not look like that then you must be doing something wrong, as you are completely missing your "actual" tracking information ( the scans e.t.c)
