I'm another Northern Ireland resident peed off to find my delivery date changed to Monday 24th. I was in contact with UPS via twitter/email and got the following reply:
"Thank you for your email. Im sorry for any confusion. Based on the service level selected by the shipper, the scheduled delivery date is 09-24-12. Please continue to track the package at ups.com for any further updates."
So Apple (the shipper) don't want me to have my phone on release day!!!
Walsh Western is actually just Syncreon, it means it has not even left yet, they are based in Newport/Wales.
www.walshwestern.com - Notice it just redirects to Syncreon?
GOOD NEWS FOR THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE:
if your ups iphone 5 delivery says 'Destination Scan' which means 'The shipment has arrived at the local UPS facility responsible for final delivery.' you are lucky just like me you will defiantly get it delivered tomorrow for people who says 'Departure Scan
The shipment has departed a UPS facility and is on its way to the next UPS facility. The shipment is moving; however, there may be several days between scans if the shipment is going cross-country or moving between countries.' your package is still moving and its not 100% certain you will get it tomorrow.
It's in Tamworth! Praying it gets here before 11AM!
Yours is probably not in Cardiff. If you are looking at the main UKMail webpage you are looking at the wrong one. Mine hasn't update on that webpage either.
You need to go here: put your Consignment Number from the main UKMail webpage, into the box and you should get an update.

I've checked SynView 360 which hasn't updated since 11:25am this morning where it was nestling in Hinckley.
Ukmail just says collected![]()
My one says "Origin Scan"
I'm not sure what that means for delivery
That's quite astonishingly creepy.![]()
That is what I am using. It is in Cardiff.
Same! I'm 105 miles away from Tamworth. I'm hoping I get it before 1pm.
They will probably start moving in the early hours of the morning, so you could be getting it before 12 midday. Depending on who your delivery driver is and which area he has been assigned.
Turns out it might actually be 8am they start. Also if your close to the depot apparently you are not in luck since they apparently drive all the way to the end of the route and deliver on the way back, so you end up last.
Those whose phone is still in Hinckley/Walsh Western (same place), where in the country are you? I'm in Nottingham, so not far from Hinckley (about 50 minutes drive), wouldn't be surprised if the vans to nearer places leave last. I imagine they have a lot of phones to move this evening.
I don't think premier 24 means before 12pm. Looking tat their site, having deliveries before certain times are options for this type of service.
"Flexible and simple! Premier 24 combines these, and more, in a reliable, signature-inclusive next-day delivery service that comes with a range of timed delivery options, including pre- 9am, pre-10.30am or pre-noon delivery slots. "
Assume tracking would have said the option on the tracking page if it was used
