I was told that they were not here yet and in transit to N.I.

Website says one thing and UPS service agent another.

This might sound stupid but when Apple accepted pre-orders they had 2 areas on a map Zone 1 and Zone 2. I know Zone 2 included areas of cornwall and the highlands - Are you sure that NI wasn't one of them? Because there delivery dates (even on pre-orders) were delivered the following week.

It seems strange that some areas of cornwall fell under this Zone but NI didn't? I'm trying to find the map but can't see it anymore on the website (Probably because there not pre-orders anymore!).

Anyone had any update from Syncreon beyond being at their Hinckley warehouse? Mine has no history, but with delivery still stated as today.

Wow, and I'm the childish one? Ok?.

I'm angry that all week I've been told the 21st ... Right up until yesterday .... When it changed to 24th. Like many people, I'm in supposed zone 1 and I ordered at 8.05am ... So with those facts in mind, I'm extremely disappointed by what I'm hearing regarding my package.

Of course I'll wait and see till the end of the day, but I'm trying to find out what the situation is with other people in our wee country.

Also, there was the added excitement for me cos it's my first ever iPhone. I'm sure other people were the same with their first iPhones or iPads ...mum just disappointed at how this has been handled for us here in northern Ireland.

Which is fine. However if some areas of Cornwall fall outside of Zone 0 or 1 whichever it may be, I would have expected (logistically speaking) NI to be the same. If you have been told the 21st I can understand your frustration. I am not picking on people like I said. I do find it amusing that people get worked up about a phone :)

It'll be worth the wait. Especially if it is your first one as well :)

For Syncreon people. The Syncreon website says mine is in Hinkley. However, Apple tracking shows it as out for delivery.

Supposedly you can get accurate tracking through the UKMail website, but it's down at present.

Bottom line: don't panic if it seems to be stuck in Hinkley.

Went into Vodafone in Lewisham this morning to get my nano sim. There was 1 other customer in the shop, no queue, stock available too.

No idea about zones.

Been told right up until last night delivery was today. I've taken the day of work to ensure i was here for delivery as i'm not around next week. This is what is annoying me. If id been told originally it would be Monday that would have been ok. I've a busy schedule and havent time to waste being messed around.

Ordered from apple ages ago. Sim card sorted, no stress. UPS delivery to work while I get on with my life, will be with me before I head home at the end of the day. No stress.

You're confusing stress with excitement. This isn't stressful, it's fun. Half the fun is waiting for it to be delivered.
