Just called orange again, and in a shock development they have said my phone is coming tomorrow between 8am and 8pm!!! And they even gave a ukmail reference!!! It even worked and confirmed what he said!! I am back in the game people!!!

Seriously though, I had to ask 5 times for the reference number, he kep saying it is coming tomorrow, no point in tracking. I said no, I would like the number please. Again, and again. He went away and put me on hold for a couple of minutes then finally caved in and gave it to me.

What are the odds of picking an upgrade up in store tomorrow, white 16GB or 32GB.

Did last year with 4s and was no problem. Seems a lot more people buying this time round though.

Seriously pissed off with Apple though. This thing is full of chips and dents to the bezel. I didn't order a black & partially silver iPhone

Paying £700 for a damaged phone which was supposed to be "new". What a joke.

Update from Linlithgow, West Lothian.

Caved in and called the UK Mail Livingston depot (whose number I already had after a failed iMac delivery a few months ago) and they were surprised I hadn't received already as they thought the driver would do Linlithgow first!

They are going to track him down and give me a call back...

Driver will be with me in the next hour and a half
