I've been with them a few years, in my opinion they have the best 3g network, very fast speeds, coverage where i am is good, so if you can get good coverage i would def recommend, plus as you say thier deals are by far the best.
Never had any probs with them either.

I'd agree if you are in a good coverage area, go with it.

Unfortunately I had to cancel as I had no coverage at work. not only that but e signal seems very weak around here anyway, comes and goes a lot and makes in car calls difficult to maintain.

I've gone with t mobile. Unlimited Internet, no tethering but you get orange signal and the option of moving to EE.

I'm not expecting it to be as fast as three, but hopefully more robust.

The cancellation with three was very well dealt with and I must say despite reports, the customer services are really good.

Well I currently live right in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, so I would hope that given it being a major city it will have a good coverage. At home I live around 8 miles away from Manchester, so not exactly in the sticks.

Do they still offer cooling off periods on contracts where you can cancel within the 14 days (or less) etc?

No - not exactly. If you put the sim in a phone and turn on, or even open your device, that's it - no cooling off.

However, they are good with regard to network problems - that's why mine got cancelled.

Ah right, fair enough.

You won't have a problem with signal with Tmobile though IMO. Since the Orange-Tmobile merge I don't think I've dropped calling signal once (excluding being in basements of buildings etc). Main reason I'm asking questions about moving away from them. They're great for network coverage. I travelled to Newcastle a few weeks ago from Manchester via train and my 3g coverage didn't drop once and that's going through rural areas too obviously.

Which network are we talking about? O2 offer a 7 day return policy on contract phones - you can return for any reason, even if it's been used, as long as it's in perfect condition. Check the contract you signed, it usually says there.

Sounds good, thanks very much for the advice. I've had a few run ins with t mob years ago, but always liked orange. And the 3G is meant to be up there with 3 for coverage but slower, which will do for now!

I can't fault 3 for how they handled the cancellation, and when I had signal it was very very quick. Spotify streaming etc, watching f1 on bbc1 live while in car!

I didn't get an email yet either but last Friday mine came at 5:09am Saturday morning but unfortunately I had accidentally asked for contract and not sim free.

I am looking to pick my up from the Belfast store so I assume their delivery came early Saturday morning then they sent the emails

Just to warn those who are still waiting for their iphone 5, don't be suprised if after all this wait you end up with a scuffed or nicked handset when delivered. My friend got his via O2 online and it had a small nick in the edge. He took it to the Apple store who opened 2 replacements which were the same. They were not helpful and unwilling to open more replacement boxes. They said he should accept that the phone cannot be guaranteed to be 100% defect free and this is how they are

They then told him to go to O2 and they said its apple's problem, anyway they had no stock. Eventually after going back to Apple and speaking to the manager her managed to get them to open a 3rd box which was similar. After arguing they opened the 4th which was fine! Not impressed with Apple CS, I'm still waiting for my delivery from O2, hope mine arrives scuff free

Finally it says

So I will have one brand new, in the unopened box iphone 5 black 32GB for sale (fully unlocked).

I saw your post and thought...hmm you have the same date range as me...shall i check mine...and low and behold yep my has changed as well....nice to see they work late into the evening hehe.

I have been lurking on this thread all week and had to register.

I ordered 16GB White via pre order from Apple on the 16th September and my delivery window is 3rd to 9th October and mines still processing.

Really unfair that people who ordered later & had a later estimated delivery have had updates saying preparing to ship. Grrrrr!

Anyone else with a 3rd to 9th October slot & still showing as processing?

Perhaps it's the model of handset ordered?
