I imagine the black would scratch a lot and show up more than the white one does. I've always had black but have always wanted to get a white phone so I'm getting white 32gb :)

Thats my concern. I'm going to keep an eye open for more comprehensive protection films, ones that at least cover the back, and maybe even the sides. I don't want a case, but I'd prefer something to help mine weather the inevitable damage I'll do... on the other hand film on the sides might be worse, if its slicker I'd end up dropping it and shattering the glass.

Black for me. For 2 reasons

1. When watching a video the screen looks bigger on black as your eyes aren't drawn to the white bezel of the white iPhone.

2. The white is for girls :D

The old white is for girls debate hehehe :D Not long now!

Really oping I can get straight through buy and then bed. I'm normally asleep by now when on nights lol.

Is it better to use the app by the way people?

Can anyone confirm if it's actually cheaper to buy an IPhone 5 outright from Apple and then buy one of the £10.50 sim-only plans available from a few providers? I calculate that there is an overall saving on a 24m contract of at least £100.... I suppose that's effectively the finance cost factored into the contract?

I may honestly go for EE, if the iPhone supports LTE in EE's frequency band... If not, I'll go to 3. Have quite a lot of friends on that network, they get great service with quite fast internet speeds.Image

It does. EE was mentioned directly in the Keynote.

Also, as part of their deal to start 4G before everyone else they had to sell some of their 1800MHz frequencies to Three, so there is a chance that when Three starts using them (not for a year from what we know right now, so if you are a yearly upgrader who cares) the 5 will also get LTE on Three.

All of the marketing thus far puts the black front and centre. I think the second version of the 5 will be marketed as white - it makes the phone seem fresher.

Torn which to choose though. I've been staring at a black iPhone for 4 years now. Only thing which is putting me off the white is that when the screen is off it doesn't look as good as the black.

My girlfriend has a white iPad and that doesn't look bad.

Question, the past few years when I've bought the iPad and iPhone outright on Launch day, Lloyds TSB have declined my card because they think it's a suspicious large sump of money coming from my account.....

Can you call the bank ahead and tell them you're going to be trying to buy something in the next few hours and tell them not to block it?

Thanks :)
