Do you not have a UPS tracking number? I've found the estimates given at UPS.com with the tracking number are usually very accurate.

Generally Syncreon will take it as far as their facility in England, and then UPS will pick it up from them and get it delivered the next day.

Out of interest, did you order any accessories? Apple often use Syncreon to merge several packages into one for final delivery by another company (e.g. UPS)

No accessories, but i did order 2 iphones 1 black & 1 white (his & hers!)

I've got the UPS tracking number (begins with an 8) but when I try to track it doesnt come up with any info on the UPS UK site! HELP!!
 
Spoke to an apple rep at meadowhall today. Really helpful and informative. Said that reservations are the only way to buy them - no stock for general sale at all.

Also said today the store got 10 iPhones in, 3 were left (for reservations) and getting reservations of several hundred a day!

Ah that's a different number (I think it's under "PO Number" on the Apple site, right?) - once your package is actually with UPS your Apple order tracking page will show a big long number starting 1Z, that's the number the put in the UPS site.

I have my business registered at my local Apple store. The guy in business sold me a 32gb white last week sim free

Lol, I missed out aswell, have you ordered one?
I ordered one today but it has 3-4 week shipping, but counting on a reservation between then.

I was going to but the responses I got from the online team regarding if the iPhone was faulty did not fill me with confidence. Talk of not being able to visit an apple store to swap it out and having to send it back and wait again ! Online ordering and retail divisions have their own set of rules !

I did get an eventual e mail from Apple saying they would let me visit an apple shop but two online specialists gave two different stories.

Worst case scenario I concede !

When you ordered online did they charge your debit card straightaway.

They only charge on dispatch
 
Just when it goes to shipped. They send an email & text message.

I can't seem to track mine on ups, I've tried the long number starting with '8' and the one starting with '2' and the ref starting with 'w'. Hopefully there will be another number to try later today.

Tried a reservation yesterday and had no joy. Was going to have a go again this morning but as you say, page has not opened up at 9am like the Apple store representative I spoke to yesterday said it would do. Guessing they're not expecting any shipments to store, so no point activating reservation system.
 
Just a note to everyone: there doesn't appear to be a shortage of 64gb models. I walked into O2 on a busy Saturday yesterday and was able to pick one up to hassle
