I was preparing since saturday and it only became available to track be the reference number about two hours before Apple said it shipped, but lots of people had access to tracking much sooner so my advice: if in doubt REFRESH (repeatedly! :D) lol but really it depends on when they take payment and send your info to UPS
 
i know this might be a stupid question but do our phones come with a blank nano sim?

Or do I have to make a trip to my local O2 shop and get one?
 
I just realised why i couldnt work out the time difference between UK and hong kong, for past 15min ive been trying to figre out when that UPS flight leaves Hong Kong in UK time, someone said 6:45am and i could not see how they got to that figure. Turns out i was getting Dubai and Hong Kong mixed up :confused: All this iPhone tracking and plane spotting is confusing!

You will have to go to O2. they will give you a 'blank' sim that you can transfer your number and tarrif to, i would get there quick as last year they ran out :eek: although i suppose nano sim was brand new last year

haha that is the sole reason i am only tracking it via ups website. not tracking the flights :p
 
Just heard my commonwealth games tickets application was unsuccessful. Bit of a bummer but at least the iPhone's going to be on its way soon.

When did they start changing status - I checked at work about 2pm and no change then (I am being lazy I can't be bothered to read pages and pages of posts :p)

Estimated date with UPS and Apple was 1st October and it came a day early. I must have just been very lucky with the timing of the connections :)

There is no such thing as a 'blank' nano sim, you have to get one from the network you intend to use, or already use.

In the case of O2 you can either go into a store and get one, or order one online here:

(I got a Nano sim myself through them a couple of weeks ago and took maybe 5 working days to arrive, so might be quicker to go to a store if you expect to have your phone soon).

What models? All except the Gold 32/64 started preparing on saturday and to my knowledge none have moved on sunday but today just a few hours ago the golds are beginning to ship :)
