Lol after checking apples site so does mine, UPS still says Kolen, Germany so its looking rather inevitable that mine will most likely arrive on Monday as originally scheduled either way I'm happy to wait as my Zagg invisibleshield that was due to arrive in today's post never made it, god forbid my shiny new iphone got scratched

Am slightly worried, as the UPS site doesn't actually say that the phones have arrived in Cologne, just that the import paperwork there has been completed. They must be there tho, surely!?

Mine simply says Koeln, Germany 04/10/2013 4:52 Import Scan

I assume that means its arrived there but still awaiting dispatch to the UK or at least I hope it does

My phone is up and running, seems great so far. It does seem to have the gyroscope issue - the spirit level is 5 to 6 degrees out.

Any idea of the best way to report this to Apple?

Hopefully there will be a software fix for those affected.

Or is it likely they'll get some tomorrow?

Both only have 64GB Space Grey.
Trafford Centre had all models and colours yesterday but couldn't discuss stock levels, they said there was a queue of over 100 people

Just queued outside Cambridge apple store for the second day in a row, only 64gb space grey was available today

Does anyone know what the deal is with apple stores getting stock on weekends? What is the possibility of them having stock Saturday/Sunday/Monday... do they actually receive deliveries of any kind? I know queuing is a gamble anyway, but I just don't want to go and queue if it's certain that there can't be any . If anyone can share any past experience with this I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Arndale had a small delivery of around 10 Space Greys last Saturday but nothing then til yesterday (Thursday). Was too far in the queue behind scalps to get one. May or may not be worse this week given Chinese holidays possibly slowing output.

In other news the Three PAYG 32g Silver I ordered Weds and received yesterday (and requested unlock) just got unlocked. Anyone thinking of going that route, this is another confirmation it works though will cost you £15.32 more.

So glad I managed to pick a 5S up on launch day, then this thread was only 50 or so pages long if that. But it does mean that ive had it for two weeks now and the new toy shine is starting to fade. So from that point of view I envy all you lot watching your delivery statuses counting down to Monday or whenever it may be. you'll definitely enjoy

Mine just arrived in Hong Kong, so my guess is that within the next three to four hours there will be a flight headed toward Germany, maybe with a few stops along the way. As I recall they've called in at the UAE and Dubai on the way.

We're in the same batch, still sitting in Chek Lap Kok. A UPS flight (UPS63 - flightaware shows it, flightradar24 doesn't) did leave for Anchorage a short while ago, though.

Is it 35quids worth of nice? Not sure, but probably the best case you're going to get!

How are you searching for package on flightaware/flightradar24 I was just going by the tracking details on the UPS site which said it left Chek Lap Kok yesterday (oh sorry you were replying to someone else, my bad but just out of curiosity how does one go about searching flightaware/flightradar24?)

Nothing too fancy - just looking for UPS flights leaving the airport for either Dubai or Anchorage (which seem to be UPS's two routes from China to Europe).

If/when UPS gives a departure scan time, it shouldn't be too hard to match that up with a specific flight out of Chek Lap Kok.

UPS (Kentish Town Depot) being useless as always;
- Failed delivery yesterday as nobody rang the bell, just slipped the failed delivery note under the main entrance door to the apartment block.
- Use online system to request collection direct from depot next day.
- Arrive at depot this morning to be told they've just sent it out for delivery again this morning, so try back at the depot again at 6pm.

Not holding much hope for delivery before Monday, so yet another day off work. This is the last time I bother ordering online, London delivery companies always seem unreliable.

Oh, and the UPS guy at the depot said "System says 2 packages right?", so maybe I'll get lucky and they'll deliver two phones instead of one

They tried to deliver mine yesterday which is actually a day earlier then scheduled. Unfortunate when they tried at around 12:45 PM no one was home. Otherwise I would have had mine yesterday.

I called yesterday around 6:00 PM to arrange for collection at the Kentish Town depot and had to go through an automated computerised system and was able to request collection at the depot today. My status on the tracking has changed to reflect that and the last entry is a warehouse scan. I haven't yet been to pick it up even though I work 10-15 minutes away. I'm going after work and I hope I don't have the same problem. I'll be annoyed if they tried to deliver again today and no one was home when I requested to pick it up. I don't want to have to wait until Monday.

Cool sounds pretty straight forward, doesn't seem like I'll be receiving a package anytime today so I'll await updates via UPS they've served my rather well in the past fingers crossed they keep up the good work

For me it lacks the gloss and firmness of some of the unofficial cases what puts me off is the buttons covered for the volume. Still it protects the phone.

Hello guys, I cancelled my order on the 27th for 32gb gold, thinking I'd get it from an Apple Store sooner. Didn't realise people start queuing up at 12am and have no intention of keeping the phone(s).

So I have placed a new order (Oct 3rd) via the Apple Store app for a 64gb (thought there'd be less demand for 64 so might get it sooner) gold 5s, and it is still giving me a dispatch date of October. Can anyone tell me when I should expect to receive it?

The man says that it is indeed still in Germany as the moment, and is likely to be with us on Monday. However he did warn that his computer's 'best estimate' delivery date was wednesday next week!

Just been following this thread, and my iPhone too. And though I'd add this piece of information I've just collected from speaking to UPS too.

In regards to the above batch :

"This type of shipment must go through customs as a whole shipment, this is why it's taking this amount of time to ship out. It has not cleared customs yet nor received its scheduled delivery date. Please continue tracking the shipment on ups.com for the scheduled delivery date that will appear when it clears customs."

The women also told me, they don't have a scheduled time for departure either and have no more or no less information that we can obtain via the website. Great help huh!!
