Just walked past the Apple store in Regents Street - 100-120 people already at 9pm!

I noticed Carphone Warehouses all over we're putting up "iPhone 5S/5C on sale here tomorrow 8am" posters up - does anyone know if Carphone Warehouse are selling handset only tomorrow or is JUST contract?

Similarly, does anyone know if Three stores are selling handset only at launch??

It always is a rush... I think if you're in the first 15 mins it should be ok...hopefully the stock is already in the UK.

12:01 BST could also be lunchtime no? Or does it say 12:01am BST? #

That's also true.. If anything it will be late :D

Well I will be sitting in front of my Mac clicking refresh and using express checkout. So I'm hoping to be one of the first :) fingers crossed ;) and yea it would be good if the stock was already in the UK, would save a lot of time.

:D:D:D:D:D: Think I might have a nap to pass the time

Nah! They wouldn't do that.

My heart was going there. Refreshed the Apple store page, and the 5S was available to buy! Selected a white 16GB, went to stick it in the basket, then the store went offline. I kid you not, I thought I was there, lol!!

Bad thing though, was that the delivery date was showing as 7-10 days.

This is clearly a lie.

Sorry to go on but....

Are Carphone Warehouse selling the 5c/5s handset only tommorow? Anyone know?

Just had an email from O2 saying that the 5s will not be in store tomorrow. They are only selling contracts and will get the phone to you as soon as possible.

That will save me getting up early to queue!

Will try to get one from Apple later late night for me.

Wouldn't that be risky. You might not wake up on time. ;) :D

Have set my alarm :p

Even if that were the case it would probably in reality be quicker. Besides they usually quotes shipping dates not delivery dates

Three saying on twitter upgrades and contracts only

I am thinking about buying a 64Gb 5S direct from Apple and then using Three's £15pm ONE plan with:

5000 texts
2000 minutes
all you can eat data

Anyone had any experience with three? Any comments?

Main reasons are:

- Prefer buying unlocked device,
- Three allow tethering,
- Price includes 4G data when the network is launched. 3G is perfect for time being.

Yeah, I used a 4S on Three for a couple of months. Reception was terrible where I live (Milton Keynes). I could only hold a phone conversation in my house by going upstairs. When I called Three to cancel the contract they spent half an hour trying to dissuade me. They then offered to sell me a signal boosting device for my house. So their network is poor and I need to pay to buy a device to improve it? Thanks, but no thanks.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend Three.
