Got mine about an hour ago. Power button rattles a bit but that is normal apparently? Generally very happy with it

Received my second replacement and think I finally have a keeper. No dings/nicks (like the first phone) and no stuck/dead pixels (like the second).

I have noticed that the volume up switch requires a firmer press than the volume down or the volume switches on the other phones. If you press the up and down with the same firmness the up won't work 8% of the time. Hopefully I will get used to this.

Yay mines finally arrived! Very pleased with it. Cosmetically perfect, but the power button has a very slight rattle and the home button is a bit "clicky"

Levels are 0 on the vertical and -2 on the horizontal :/

They all rattle and click. It's a new mechanism for the home button so it is what it is. Mine has become less clicky after a week.

Im not too concerned :) sometimes have a bit of OCD but the rattle on the power button will disapate over time and a cover will help I am sure

This one's got a dead pixel too, in nearly exactly the same place as the other two (i.e. in the bottom of the top right corner of the screen). Apple have lost my custom here and I'll probably be switching to Android.

I'm going to send an email to Tim Cook to complain. It's ridiculous. For £629, there should be ZERO faults, even if, like in my case(s), they are small.

Maybe I'll try again in six months, but for now this is goodbye iPhone 5s.

Just a little update from me:
Ordered a 16gb gold iPhone 5s on the 24th september
Preparing for shipment: 19th october
shipped: 21st October

Location Date Local Time Activity
Shenzhen, China 21/10/2013 23:00 Departure Scan
21/10/2013 18:54 Origin Scan
China 21/10/2013 6:01 Order Processed: Ready for UPS

And another nice surprise was that it says its shipped by 'UPS Worldwide Expedited' when i haven't paid for it or asked for it, and neither of the apple reps when i rang them twice in the past week told me they upgraded the shipping.
UPS says it should be here by the end of thursday, apple says next monday, which should I believe? hopefully my girlfriend won't mind me staying at home on those days in wait for the UPS Van :D

Good luck, by the way expedited is the norm, express is the fast one, hopefully you will recieve by thursday.

Cripes. That sucks. I mean, the same issue three times?!

Don't rely on Apple coz my delivery was meant to be on Friday but came today, but I missed mine and so I will get it tomorrow. So it's most likely gonna come Thursday!

Really? Wow, what are the odds of that? Sorry man but that's some bad luck you're having

Yeahh i trust UPS with their delivery estimates, can't wait, hopefully i won't have any issues, is it really worth replacing it just because the level is off by a few degrees :S ?

I know. I really tried not to look for it but I found it within 5 minutes of opening the box and now I always see it :(

I had the same problem with my MacBook Pro Retina. It had the screen replaced 3 times for dead pixels.

Unlucky me :(

I guess I may have jinked you when I said 3rd time a charm.

I received mine today, it's arrived at just after 6pm. I was working but my poor ole Dad waited in all day (had it delivered to him).

So far, everything seems fine. Although level thingy is off by -1.

Always a do gooder somewhere. I was stationary

Phones missing!? Pls expand on that?

There have been odd cases whereby iPhones have been delivered by ups. Signed for by the excited customer and to be greeted with an empty iphone box..

What's the best way to test for dead pixels? Just a blank white screen somewhere? Any sites or programs you used? How did you spot yours?

Just download DEAD SPOTTER in the apple app store Free.

I'm not sure I'd want to know. If I can't see them with a naked eye, then I'd hate to have them identified.

I'm assuming you can see them if you know what you're looking for?

For me ignorance is bliss.

LOL That the first thing I do on new Apple product.:D
These things are to expensive not to be check.

Is anyone else having the same status?

Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong
10/22/2013 1:30 A.M. Arrival scan

Does anyone know when the next plane to Europe depart?

Ups plans to deliver on Thursday in UK, so I do not know if it flies directly to Cologne or to Dubai first.
