UK iPhone 5s and 5c Thread

Pleased to say that mine arrived at about 14:05.
Beautiful phone (Gold 32GB) , lightening fast & Touch ID set up & working a treat.
The On/Off button does rattle when I shake the phone more than any other iphone I've had , but then again why would I shake my phone ! Have my nice clear case on & very happy indeed.
Hope all you guys still waiting will be up & running very soon.

so happy with it.. looks great, touch ID is so clever and easy.. slow mo great.. perfect upgrade from my 4! good luck to others on getting theres posted.
edit: one thing I would say is UPS are always so miserable? thats twice now I've had macbook pro and iPhone 5s from them and they don't even look at you

My UPS guy was lovely, he asked us what we were cooking since it smelt lovely and how he wouldn't be able to eat for the next 3 hours, we offered him some but he politely declined

I assume theu are week 43's. Can u report on the sleep button? does it rattle? My week 42 has a rattling sleep button, the sound is all over any videos or voice memos i take, this seems to be a wide spread thing, was wondering if it got better or if its soming we gonna have to live with.

Hi , yes I can confirm that if I shake my 5s the sleep button does rattle.
I have a clear tight case on it so I don't hear it , but it most definitely rattles.
If the week number is in with the Model number , then yes it's week 43

Yes I'm inclined to agree.
During the day when at work or in office , I'll be protecting it with a tight silicon case. Even if I shake the phone it doesn't rattle.
In the evenings I take the case off like it is now. If I shake it , it will rattle , however I don't intend shaking it. I'm not into , nor have games on my phone that involves shaking the phone.
That said , I'm surprised it does. For Apple , & for a premium phone as the 5s is , there's no way it should rattle. I understand there has to be give in things , but not rattling.

I dont shake it at all. Its just all over the family videos i take, bought the 64GB with the intention of taking video, the rattle is right next to microphone.
My iPhone 5 rattles at the top as did my 4. I could be wron but is that not where the gyro is located? Doesn't the gyro have moving parts?
Have a feeling my 4 is showing signs of age. It's now randomly no longer sounding it's notification tones which his bizarre but I've been into my upgrade time since the 3rd of September so tbf I've held out well compared to previous years! Lol such a pain as I intended on waiting til new year...
Anyhow I would love a 5s but I think I'll have to settle for a 5c. I will be happy with that though as I actually like the pictures I've seen. Yet to hold one but the green one appeals to me which is surprising as blue is my favourite colour.
Would definitely need the 32gb version as I have 7gb music and in excess of 5gb of pictures etc too!
Still will see at the weekend and will aim to nip into an apple store and speak to a member of staff then. Seeing the 5c pictures actually makes me a little excited lol would like to experience that new phone feeling again.

There us a sound tha comes from the camera lanse that is normal and has been since the 4. What i am on about is a loose sleep button tha rattles with any movement. Not all 5s's have them i had one without that sleep button rattle, unfortunatly screen was piss yellow. If its not one thing its another it seems.

I'm with O2, and need to upgrade from my ageing Nokia. My wife is a long running iPhone user, although constantly cursing the iOS7 disaster, which looks like it was designed by a child, and crushes her battery life.

Apple themselves, and it'll have iOS7 pre-installed. No going back to 6 unless you buy second hand, although a 5c or a used 5 would be a much better option than a 4s these days when buying new...
