I posted it, it just said "come back later", people are reading 1+1 and coming up with 5, in fact, it's not looking good for reservations coming back, the link from the Retail home page that went to the reservations page has disappeared altogether now.

For the car I have a Mountek NGroove Snap 2 - it goes in the CD player slot. There's a grip one too, but mine is with magnets; planning to use the tablet strength one (that's a bit thicker) with my iPhone plus as it won't fit in the cupholder any more. I don't stick them to the phone, just pop them in between the phone and the case and they work fine and can't be seen unless the case is sheer or see through. Sticks well to the mount and at a great height - I have a Beetle with curved dashboard and dash mounts won't stick, and the windscreen is too far away!

Not sure if it's gone so expensive as an Apple effect, I paid £18 in June - it's £31 on Amazon at the moment

I just had a look through the American thread about iPhone 6 preorders.. I'm so jealous that they can look at their UPS tracking. Some of them are even able to arrange specific delivery times so that they don't miss the delivery, or get it delivered to a specific depot - which is exactly what I would like to do ASAP.

Ah well it was worth a try, altho i do still keep getting this. Nothing lost, i'm going to Birmingham Bullring on Saturday anyway so might just pop in the Apple store and see, even if i don't manage to get one, it will at least help me decide which model i want (4.7" or 5.5").

I know, it's so frustrating. I am grateful that I got in for a 19th delivery, don't get me wrong, but if I don't get it on Friday, I need it early on Saturday morning because I move to a different address in the afternoon...
 
Did anyone else reserve one to collect from a store on the on the 12th?

I did, all I have is an email saying I can pick it up on between 2-3pm on the 19th - nothing else though - nothing on my apple account, i don't think they took any card details even.

Has anyone else received anything else?

Share price is about the same it's been past few weeks! Nothing new there at all!

The carriers and Carphonebleughhouse always pretend they have more stock than they actually have for launch day

It's been clear from the first hints of the 6 plus that there would be supply constraints at the start. There was even the possibility they wouldn't release the same day as the 6 as it wasn't quite ready. (Screen supply issue if I remember)

It's the same every year :)

You probably won't. Only courier I know who gives a time slot is DPD. Apple usually uses UPS. You may be able to change address once tracking is live.

No, it's all you need, as long as you are there for your time slot you will get it.

I have always jailbroken my iPhones and iPad... well I am not as bummed, my iPad Air at least is still jailbroken and wont update until iOS8 gets a jailbreak in that.

Ah I'm gonna update my iPad but not till next week when the servers have calmed down, last year took so long, lesson learnt.
 
I've got iOS 8 GM on my 5 and Air, the battery is fine on both. I've had iOS 8 on them since Beta 1, it's fine. :)
