I've got iOS 8 GM on my 5 and Air, the battery is fine on both. I've had iOS 8 on them since Beta 1, it's fine.
That's is very good, just that i read in another site that is the GM is draining battery a lot more.

If you're interested I've got a 64gb and 128gb 4.7" being delivered on Friday that I was merely going to return to apple.
(I bought them looking to sell them on eBay but the fees make it pointless) so I'm just returning them. Available at cost if you're desperate! Based in Solihull.

Or you could just cancel them from Apple site... once you see the cancel option, so another person can buy it, not brag about having more than 1 phone.
If you read this it says "come back tomorrow" and for "same day pick up". Same day, ie tomorrow will be for iPhone 5's. No 6's out yet. That's the way I read it what do you think?

I'm looking to get the 5.5" iPhone 6 Plus i think, i haven't held either in my hands yet, and that's why i'm going to the Apple store on Saturday to try them out. Thank you for the offer tho

I'm waiting for Brodit to release the holder for the iPhone 6+. I've an in car holder I've been using since the iPhone 3G, which also took the iPhone 4 & 5. Suspect that i'm not going to get the 6+ in the same holder?

I believe he was referring to the brodit proclip! I had one for my 5 which was a nice bit of kit!
Can you tell me whether these holders are easy to remove from the car vent without causing damage to the vents or the unit itself?
I dislike vent based holders, as especially in the summer I'm hot after work and the vents are needed!
This is what I've bought, cheap and probably horrible but I've used a similar style one since the 4, so they've not all bad.

My iPhone 5 mount has a solid arm so hopefully the holder will attach to it, the flex arms are useless.
I am guessing people who will be queuing in Friday will need to be extremely early to be one of the few first in line, otherwise their options to pick what they want is limited... if not already limited with the store reservations.

The Brodits don't damage the car, they have cleaver ways of securing the holder. They are the best. That's why they're the most expensive too.
If you've got 6+ 64gb space grey, i would be interested if you dont want to keep it. Im also in Brum
Bad news if you have ordered from Three on preorder day. Looks like you are not getting your iPhones on release day.

The cancel option disappears for good once an item is preparing for dispatch. He has no option other than to take delivery (and then either keep it, send it back, or sell it on) or refuse delivery. Cancelling is no longer an option.
