So, tracking numbers
UPS starts with 1ZW7 (or is it just 1Z?)
DPD starts with 155
^(That's been my experience with all parcels received from DPD over the last year, looking back through emails)
UKMail starts with 309
^(as confirmed by people receiving cases from UKMail)
Anyone know others to add to the list to help people identify couriers?

Any order beginning with 1Z will almost definitely be UPS. You might not be able to track it yet though
Any UPS customers managed to get their tracking information showing up? Got my tracking ID from Apple, but not on UPS' tracking system yet.
If that happens, you will be very luck, I think the carriers and apple has hard rules to stick to the shipping day, which is the 19th, not before, but cross fingers

Same but Silver ... so courier selection may not be down to the model size or delivery location ... interesting (ish). I get my pre-order in at 08:44 when was yours comleted?
I'm actually hoping that mine comes in the afternoon/evening as I'll be with a client all day and my wife will only be back after lunch.
Just called EE (for the second time since my pre order), as I was starting to get a little frustrated that people who had ordered a few days after me were getting confirmed Friday delivery.
I was put through to a very nice person this time, she completely understood why I was calling and didn't get annoyed with me at all. I mentioned the early time that I ordered my iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Grey and was told that it will definitely be here on Friday, she said it was currently being picked and processed and will be dispatched with DPD tomorrow. She even re-emailed my confirmation so that it says the correct delivery date rather than the 17th October that it said before. I mentioned to her that people on Twitter were saying that they had ordered after me and received different texts, she put that down to there systems crashing on the Friday and reiterated that there shouldn't be any reason for the early callers not to get their iPhones!

iPad air OTA stuck on 2 hours remaining, via iTunes 21 hours ... :-/Download for my iPad 2 OTA was very quick less than 10mins but was only 800mb something.
But the install failed and now its downloading it again
Nope. The CPW Checked up on my order and told me that it will come by Friday. I ordered via phone. If you get a text tomorrow, it will come on Friday. If you get a text on Friday, then you will get on Sunday.

That is very very VERY reassuring - I got the exact same model as you - and preordered very early. Holding out on DPD tomorrow, fingers crossed!
Any Three customers had any updates today? Noticed that EE customers are getting texts to inform of them dispatch/upcoming DPD texts.
Three use DPD as well so hopefully they'll make contact tomorrow or something.

Managed to get in at 08:43. I'd be surprised if I'm not in the same delivery as you, it doesn't make any sense to deliver to the same place with multiple couriers.

Three told me a text on the day from DPD. What have you ordered and over the phone or internet. Was it an upgrade or new contract? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get an idea of what three are basing their deliveries on.
I am supposed to be receiving 2 x 16gb pluses and they are still for friday according to call centre.
