Guys, has this happened to anyone else?

I had two different numbers for both tracking and delivery number. Now it shows both as the same number.

I've tried to track via UK mail but to no avail. Not too bothered, just curiosity really.

Seen a few people say that, and my order has done the same. You can put the shorter number in to one of the boxes (I think the customer reference box) and your postcode in the 3rd box, and it will still find your tracking on UK Mail.

However, at the moment their tracking appears to be giving errors, so I'd imagine something has crashed on their system under the strain of it all, but hopefully it'll be working before too long!

Just saw the above couple of posts. Glad it's not just me. Hopefully all will be fine... would like UKmail to update though.

Freaking Tamworth is 130 miles from my place. Why is my phone still in Tamworth... How will it reach me tomorrow. The status was last updated at 5:55pm today. maybe be it changed but hasn't reflected in site.

Yep though it should still track if you use the delivery number in the 'Customer reference' box along with your postcode.

Yep. Had differing numbers at first and they've been the same since yesterday. Ordered on the 12th at 8:30am.

Tracking number might work with UPS as Syncreon have handed off some consignments to them already.

Ye to be honest I live close to Birmingham. Stafford is my local UK mail depot. So it's not exactly a long journey.

Mines still in birmingham and I'm all the way in West Yorkshire.

My phone better be here tomorrow or I'll be fuming.

Collected since 08:50 his morning. How long does it take tk go to the nearest depot? 16 hours???

I'm starting to get worried now.

Mine looks at have been in transit since the last update of origin scan at Tamworth at 2:34pm this afternoon. Surely it would be at the Gateshead depot by now and just hasn't updated.

Similar for my second order, in transit since 5:08pm

Still both showing as On Time

Not sure where my UPS depot is. Either Maidstone or Dartford. Must be close-ish to my house because I think the driver goes furthest away first and then works his way back to the depot, so my house is one of the last drop offs! Last UPS delivery arrived at 15:01.

They'll drive through the night when the roads aren't busy. When I was getting my iPhone 5. I was tracking it through UPS and the night before it was in Tamworth. Like the iPhones this year are. Still got the phone in Cambridge by 2pm

Tell me about it, I was one of first few in the Belfast store a few years ago for a product launch and it's so embarassing (for everyone). It's so American...

Nah, I like it. Not when it's forced, but if people feel like expressing their celebration, why not? I think the problem's more that we stuffy Brits fold our arms and tut when people are just enjoying themselves.

Fair comment, but I think Brits are programmed to only like enjoyment when at least 3 bitters down!

That's the thing though, it is forced! You could tell the employees in the store were embarrassed, you could see the manager person staring at them occasionally if they started to clap/cheer less vigorously

Dunno if these are of any use to anyone.
I like to restore the software on my new devices when I get them, just to clear any left-over testing software, logs, or anything else if it wasn't quite a final iOS version.

I'm downloading iPhone 6 IPSW now, to save having to do it tomorrow and being delayed from playing with my new toy :)

Edited:
Turns out my original links were wrong. 6 is 7,2 and 6 Plus is 7,1.
6 Plus has build 12A366. I've corrected the links

Interesting that the iPhone 6 is build 12A366, where as the 6 Plus and the other iOS 8 developer GM/public release builds yesterday were 12A365.
