O2 haven't hinted anything, even on their Twitter up until today they kept saying things like 'we don't know what you're talking about'. Now it's the first time they've even mentioned the iPhone 6.

That iPhone O2 exclusivity ship sailed a long time ago and it's not coming back.

It was on another thread on here, someone asked on Chat and they said they would be the first to offer pre-orders. You have to take it with a pinch of salt though its very unlikely they would be given early pre-orders.

The not knowing what you are talking about thing, is their whole advertising campaign in the run up to the iPhone 6. Have you not seen the newspaper adverts.

Agreed - they haven't mentioned ANYTHING yet and even on Twitter, when I've sent them a message, all they come back is 'No idea what you're talking about'.....?!?!? Whats all that about - at least drop us a hint!!!

My current EE contract is up, so I'll be getting the iPhone 6 on a new contract.

Looking at moving to Three unless EE or O2 drastically change their data on the plans.

Same with me mate, I cancelled my 02 contract just recently as I don't get any signal coverage from them at my work place so it was a must to leave them. Am thinking about going to Three too but I just really hope I can get it on the first day, via delivery!

https://twitter.com/O2/status/506502494416289792 That tweet is clearly referring to the iPhone 6. They have only started doing it in the past few days and it can't be about the Amazon Fire as no one was even anticipating that.

The other networks are doing the same. Apple haven't said they are releasing an iPhone 6 yet so I doubt the networks can mention it by name but they can hint towards it.

Oh yea - now you mention it - yes - the ones with the cat with a hand in front of its mouth!!!

Hoping to get a 5.5 iPhone, worried about the price, expecting a 16gb to be £649.

Will be buying online regardless if there is pre orders or not.

Having a iPhone 5 and being with o2, i can't wait to finally have 4g :D

Most likely the phone will cost more then 649 for the 5.5 inch. I wouldnt hold my breath if it wasn't going to be around 799.

EE are also getting in on the pre parties.

Based on the image in the Tweet, it looks like there'll be two iPhones released, the 4.7" and the 5.5" AND possibly an iWatch? :)

I highly doubt the people behind O2 and EE's Twitter pages know anymore than us. As for the O2 chat message that was posted, they'll say absolutely anything, just to get that 5* rating at the end of the chat.

Nice to see another Hustler here lol.

I agree with the chat/sales team not knowing much about the upcoming iPhone release - they'll tell you anything to get that sale through and keep their scores up, but the Twitter team behind O2 and EE are more likely to know seeing as they're part of the marketing for the networks. It'll be nothing more than teasers from them until the official announcement by Apple.

+1

I imagine these guys know exactly what's coming, all marketing info and promo's etc will all have needed to been created already

you guys think the preorders will be avaliable today on the website? or do we wait till 19th?

My guess pre orders will be this week sometime with retail release on the 19th. Possibly pre orders could be delivered around the 19th too.

I doubt pre-orders will be available this year based on last year's 5S release not having a pre-order service.

That was due to a lack of stock though wasn't it which had been reported months in advance, you could preorder the 5c. This year stock sounds like it will be plentiful at least for the 4.7 inch model.

Only reason 5s had no pre-orders was because of shortage of stock. As far as i'm aware there have been no production issues this time around.

I'm hoping prices for the 4.7" are relatively the same as the 5s prices, but we'll probably see the ~£20 increase there is every year.

I really hope we can get a 32GB 5.5" for the same price as the current 64GB 5s... Anything more gets a bit expensive.

The Pound has fallen quite a bit though recently (bloody Scotland! ), so I wouldn't be surprised to see price hikes across the board.
