MK Store...

I thought I'd pop down to the MK store this morning and see if I could chance my arm getting a 6.

The queues were in three segments, and back to the old centre MK doors. The queue wasn't moving at all, and I asked if I'd have a chance of a 6 if I joined the back.

It seemed there had been an altercation in the queue which had meant it had all slowed down. By the time I'd found a member of staff, he was about to start giving out reservation passes towards at the back, and they only had 64gb space greys left. He didn't have an idea of how many they had and looking at the queue I made the decision to come home - it looked like they'd be waiting a good hour or two even if they did have a pass.

Overheard someone saying they were near or at the front of the queue at 3am and were being offered £100 to give it up.

Someone I was asking the staff with said last year he just walked in about the same time (9am) and picked one up...

This serves me right for dithering over the size too much... I'm not sure how the reservation slots were working given there just seemed to be one big queue.

Me too, I'm sat at my desk just now, should be working but instead I'm on here browsing forums and glancing out of my office window and just occasionally looking in the direction of work :D

It's not like I'll get much work done once it arrives anyway, might as well just concede that today won't be too productive

Are you anywhere nearer recieving yours yet. Mine was delivered at 8am so a productive day doing no work and a lot of play lol

Check out this video of the Regent Street (London) queue.

It goes into what I think is Hannover Square, and that entire park is a circular queue with multiple lines, and then it exits the park and goes further back still!

Honestly just watch the video it's insane.

Tip: The walk is rather slow so view on YouTube at 2x speed.

Wow! One of the previous launches I wasn't even going to bother with the Day 1 pre-order/queue adventure, then I ended up walking past Regent Street about 10am on launch day and there were no queues at all, just a few bored reporters and camera crews loitering outside. Went in, loads of stock, out with a new iPhone in less than 5 mins. I guess it's a bit different this year!

Just delivered! iPhone 6 Plus 16GB Gold, came with UK Mail in Leicestershire.

You're telling me - apparently my order was showing as going through fine for today at the end of Wednesday but everyone I spoke to at EE failed to tell me.

A phone was assigned to me early Thursday for pick up by DPD and still no one told me when I would ring...

If I didn't call AGAIN this morning, I would have presumed my phone was arriving tomorrow - and not been here for the delivery today.

They probably know that once everyone's phones started landing on doorsteps all will be forgotten, but they've got to change something about this process!!

But I'm glad things are falling into place - I think it's just N0RRIS who needs solid confirmation now!

Well, not long now.
I'll definitely reconsider pre-ordering with EE next time.

Hopefully N0RRIS will have a delivery today too :)

Woo! Just confirmation of my time slot from DPD, 13:22 to 14:22

Was beginning to think my phone liked the depot so much that it had decided to stay there!

Well, this is it.

My parcel arrived literally seconds ago. The parcel tracker said to expect a 6PM delivery slot so this is a pleasant surprise. So very excited. :D

The parcel box is so much bigger than I remember my iPhone 4S arriving in. Guess that's a good sign.

Which company delivered to you?
