Well, this is it.

My parcel arrived literally seconds ago. The parcel tracker said to expect a 6PM delivery slot so this is a pleasant surprise. So very excited. :D

The parcel box is so much bigger than I remember my iPhone 4S arriving in. Guess that's a good sign.

6 p.m. is what they write when they don't have a slot yet

Liverpool ONE iPhone 6 launch

Arrived just before 8am to a good size crowd. Lots of duvets and pillows so seems plenty of overnighters.

I wasn't going to get one as I could afford to buy outright this time but walking past o2 shop at 8.15 and only 4 people in store. Straight in and 5 min later a new shiny 128gb Space Grey was born!

On Refresh, last phone was 4S so this was a nice treat!

A lot of these people probably won't end up getting anything or at least not what they wanted, I always feel kinda bad for them

I was able to hold the stores only 6+ today and it is massive, it's really is too big for most people. I was the first person to get mine from the store this morning.

I'm happy with my choice of the gold colour (4.7 64GB gold), it looks great. It feels different with the different size and the lock button on the right, but even though it is slightly heavier it feels lighter because it is spread over a larger area. I didn't understand what people meant by swiping is much more smooth thanks to the curved screen until I experienced. It now really feels like the phone is 1 piece and their isn't just a screen plonked on top of it. You can swipe your finger from the metal siding over the screen without noticing the join which makes the swiping feel much better.

Any idea when the stores (the 2 Glasgow Apple Stores specifically) will have the 6 Plus in stock to just walk in and buy one off the shelf?

For anyone in South Wales stuck at 12:33am Tamworth scan, check ups again.

Just refreshed and out for delivery at 06:12am has appeared. Only 4 hours late but at least it's not in Tamworth!

Just called Three again and cancelled my upgrade.

Pretty annoyed to say the least - wish they just could have been straight from the get-go, I've basically wasted today for no reason.

I now have two options.

1) Buy outright from Apple, it'll take 3-4 weeks at least but it does give me the flexibility of not being tied down to Three anymore other than the SIM-only contract I'll be looking into (£15 p/m)

2) ...not buy the 6 and stick with my 5. Sounds crazy I know, but, rational thinking has kind of got the better of me recently, I dont really need to be dropping £££ on a new phone I dont need!

Good luck everyone though! Hope you all get what you want :)

They're the same build as iOS 8 for existing devices, with the exception of the iPhone 6 - that one's one build higher. 12A366 as opposed to the 12A365 that everything else (including iPhone 6 Plus) is.

Interesting, my 64GB Space Gray iPhone 6 just arrived and has 12A365 on it.
