UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Question, my mum is taking delivery for me as I'm in work. She needs to go out a bit later on, if it hasn't arrived by then and she leaves a note on the door with signature and instructions to leave the parcel in a safe place will UPS do it?
 
Still not out for delivery...even though expected delivery date is today :confused:

He delivers parcels for a living so surely today is just a normal day. With the packages being so small it's not like heavy lifting is involved so today should be an easy one. Perhaps a little busier than normal in some locations...

Don't panic as I think they are running behind with updating their system n certain areas.

Mine didn't update with out for delivery until 10:15 and then it said out at 06:15am so my area was four hours behind

I just visited the Touchwood (Solihull) store to pick up a case. Queues were large, but as I only wanted a case they let me in. Just find one of the staff members outside and they will find someone in store to help.

Great - and stock was plentiful?
 
I was able to see my tracking details including the time slot on the UK mail website but now its giving me an error that no result found. anyone having the same issue??

I'm in the same boat, they are only down the road. I've contacted them on twitter and they asked for my details, so will see what they say.

I would rather just go and pick it up.

Very unlikely. Apple usually specifically don't allow it and someone else on this thread has said that it is written on the box.

It would be a big risk for the driver to take. Anyone could have stuck a note on your door.
 
Mine has arrived, bang on time from UK Mail, iphone 6 64gb space grey. It is the perfect size for me, glad i didnt go with the 6plus.
 
Heads up to anyone in the Redbridge area waiting for UPS, they've just delivered one of mine. Still have the other one stuck on 'At delivery location' with UKMail in Docklands :mad:
 
For anyone thinking they'll wipe their iPhone with the downloaded 12A1366 IPSW, iTunes said it wasn't for my device. However doing a restore via iTunes should have the same effect, as it will download the same file.
 
It's here just so people it know it didn't turn up in a UK mail van it was a small plain white van. :)

Further to above and those who like to see how things track...this is now the latest info from UPS...really odd to see the routing to the UK via these places!!

You'll be docklands depot if you're in central london? Just spoke to them on phone and twitter and they are trying to arrange extra drivers apparently due to sheer volume of deliveries. Concerned that its gonna turn up after my office close the loading bay downstairs!
