I went with finance as well. Mine was approved and took about 30 mins after it was processing to change to preparing to dispatch.

It took ages for me (think it finally updated on tuesday) but it finally went through and now I'm expecting delivery Mid-October.

Not getting it launch day makes me a little sad, but the fact that I am getting it through Apple rather than being tied to a network and the fact that it works out the cheapest solution overall (aside buying outright which I don't have the money for) counteract this.

I just noticed the UK Mail tracking page has a summary of some of the useful nuggets of info that have surfaced on this thread. Look here for and FAQ and here for more detail about delivery status.

Finally my phone is got shipped:

Est. Delivery: 22 September 2014 - Do we know which flight it will go. It will land in UK.

whats even more odd is that my apple store order shows delivery still for the 22nd where as the dispatch email I received at 00:26 this morning states 23rd?!

Same here! My 6 is out for delivery today but also got a Plus BECAUSE I JUST COULDN'T DECIDE!! My Plus has the same 5:00 P.M. Departure Scan. Est Delivery came down from 30th, to 23rd, to 22nd so I assume it's just Apple being over cautious so as not to make false promises! It won't come down any further though because UPS don't deliver Sundays.

I'm praying for 22nd! :apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:

Did anyone get a screen protector for their 6 Plus that they've had to chance to fit? I might buy one but I want one that's a nice fit i.e. snug around the home button. Preferably one I can get on Amazon Prime.

Yes mine is now saying this - slough.

Scanned into HoldBay - Rearranged Delivery.

On the phone waiting for someone to pick up. I'm going to ask if I can pick it up but I'm not to hopeful.

Not possible I've asked. Are you docklands too? This is pathetic ups can keep up

Just had 2 dropped off by UPS- I'm SW London, it came from their Feltham Depot. 64GB Space Grey, unlocked.

Only dilemma now is which one to open & keep and which one to sell to a desperado who can't wait a few weeks!

'Part Delivered'? "Umm, yeah, sorry boss but it's sort of...in half? It's okay, we have a label for this!" :D

You've got to love DPD tracking:

Nimesh is currently making delivery number 71, you are delivery number 79.
Nimesh is approximately 45 minutes away from you.

:):)

Hmmm... interesting that the FAQ says they are delivering between 8am and 8pm today yet my delivery time is between 8:46pm and 9:46pm

Yeh, I love their tracking... shame they all don't use that.. was fun watching my launch day Xbox one make its way to my house :D

Met the UPS guy on Wednesday and as I live round the corner from my work, he said he'd drop the phone in for me at work instead today.

Bang on 10am he turns up.

iPhone 6 is nice. Thin, fast, and currently loading from my last icloud backup. :)

Yay.

Check out this video of the Regent Street (London) queue.

It goes into what I think is Hannover Square, and that entire park is a circular queue with multiple lines, and then it exits the park and goes further back still!

Honestly just watch the video it's insane.

Tip: The walk is rather slow so view on YouTube at 2x speed.

Samsung can mock the iPhone and they can mock people standing in line but they will never ever experience this for any of their products.
