True....but it's not so fun for my mrs!! I work all day so gotta tell her to stay in 1 particular day.....and with 2 kids as well it's gonna be a nightmare day for her staying in all day with them......they usually have regular playgroups or something to get them out the house and stop her from going insane.....i can only imagine her face if i make her stay in all day Monday only for UPS to reschedule last minute and i have to tell her to stay in all day Tuesday as well......grounds for divorce? :D

Same here! Plus I noticed that on the Apple website it says delivery delayed to the 23th :mad:

whats even more odd is that my apple store order shows delivery still for the 22nd where as the dispatch email I received at 00:26 this morning states 23rd?!

That's me alright, spying and watching the birds fly by, no cats right now, but maybe later! silly cats!

Also have my coffee mug with me and some snacks to let the time pass by, and watching GTX980 bench-mark video @ OC3D.

Yea i had that as well......i would take either day right now to be honest since we were originally told 30th - 3rd oct.....i just wish i knew one of the days for certain so i can tell my mrs! :)
 
I knew UK Mail were crap, but didn't realise they were this crap! How could this volume have taken them by surprise, contingency plans?! Aaarrrghhhhhh I know they've delivered to my office this morning already from the docklands depot just a shame my phone wasn't on the van!!!!
 
UPS finally just delivered my 6+ from the Edinburgh depot.
Definitely made the right choice, the 6+ is just the right size for my humongous man hands :D
Time to play.
 
I'm sat watching our CCTV feed from the delivery door at work....

YES A VAN IS HE--- oh.... it's DHL, not UKMail :(

I just did it from an iTunes backup as I thought it'd be faster. Now it's done, all my apps are greyed out and say "waiting". the cog at the top is spinning to say there's activity, but nothing seems to be happening - as in none of the apps seem to be loading or whatever...

Mine did that. Just wait. It kicks into life eventually and then they all complete quite quickly.

Still says at depot and just spoke to them who said it might be tomorrow as its docklands they manage central and there busy pissed off tbh
 
Any one waiting for the Phone in Stratford London?

I am worried if the delivery person would give me a ring in intercom or call my mobile as I am living in a flat. Any ideas any one?

Yep. My husband is very glad I have my phone coming too. The twins are currently napping which is helping with the whole being stuck in thing. Bet they come at 17.55.
