UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

UKmail delivery perhaps tomorrow or Monday

So my iphone6+ space grey is still at the depot. I called UKMail and they said if I don't get it today then they're trying to get extra drivers to make deliveries tomorrow. But it could be Monday. I don't mind waiting (aaaaahhhhh!) but it's the fact I've been waiting in the house all day for probably no reason. Mind you I still have an irrational hope that the tracking info isn't current and it'll be here soon. Dreams...

I'm near Bangor ( North Wales).
 
So did anyone else have an "attempted delivery" by UKMail? (I live in a gated building and they decided not to press buzzers...).

What did you do?

did you manage to let you pick up from a depot?
 
UPS are taking it to the depot and I can pick it up at 6pm!! So happy. I'm pleased with UPS' service :)

Near there, just had my status change from Out for Delivery to Delayed and now have an expected delivery date of 22nd. I took the day off work to wait in for this. Not happy at all. :mad:

So anyone waiting for an iPhone currently flying from China that had an estimated delivery date of 29th Sep - 3rd October... I just got this email from Apple!

Your dispatch notification email displays an estimated delivery date for next week. We are pleased to inform you that the scheduled delivery for your iPhone 6 Plus has been updated to 20.09.2014.

On Saturday morning you will be able to track your order by visiting Order Status.

I ran out about an hour ago. My 6+ has been delivered but I'm stuck here waiting on me missus 6 getting delivered. I'll be glad when she gets home from work I'll be sprinting to the shop :D
 
mine arrived at 2:30, just as promised by UK Mail. I think they've done a great job (at least in my case) - thanks guys, I know you're working hard to make as many people happy as possible today!
 
Now bloody Interlink have arrived.... who proceeded to wind me up saying he's just seen a UKMail van heading away from our office.....

I'm gonna be sat here until 8pm at this rate!!!!

So somehow, people on these forums who live in Belfast (About 7 miles from me) in Northern Ireland have received their iPhone deliveries which is fantastic, however UK Mail have now decided to change my Order Status to "Delayed" with an estimated delivery date of the 22nd. What the **** UK Mail? How is this even possible?!

The website I got the links off must have had it the wrong way around.

I usually finish at 3.30, but staying here until phone arrives (sitting in car in car park if it comes to that!)

I have a 6 reserved in the Apple Store. Tempted to say **** the 6 Plus and go pick a 6 up. I wasn't sure about the size anyway...

I would suggest something happened to van or your driver and they have had to cut their run short. Unfortunate if that the case. Belfast and Lisburn would have different drivers I would think. I know they have a driver for the Omagh / Tyrone area and you could almost set your watch by the time they come - and he was within an hour today of the last time he delivered here.
 
2 1/2 hours past delivery window now with UKMail. Seen one delivery bod drive his white van slowly down the street and back up, checking house numbers, then drove off. Hoping that wasn't him...
 
Anecdote: The last time I was waiting at work for a delivery (DPD), I was tracking the driver on the map via their great system. Spotted he was close by so was expecting him imminently... an hour later he was still on the same drop number so I called customer services.
I was told the driver had been delayed, and then he gave me such a nugget of info - the driver had actually had an accident!! No wonder he'd been at the same drop number for over an hour.
