It's here guys ! Only 2 hours late. Don't give up.

Driver was unfriendly but said he didn't have many deliveries. Lazy sods

Anecdote: The last time I was waiting at work for a delivery (DPD), I was tracking the driver on the map via their great system. Spotted he was close by so was expecting him imminently... an hour later he was still on the same drop number so I called customer services.
I was told the driver had been delayed, and then he gave me such a nugget of info - the driver had actually had an accident!! No wonder he'd been at the same drop number for over an hour.

DPD driver once told me he was sat at some traffic lights waiting to move off and a mini pulled up along side him and asked for his package... Apparently was desperate for their delivery so tracked them online and went out and found them....

Just received my 04:55 UPS Luton delivery in Ware, Hertfordshire. Said he still has loads to deliver so keep your spirits up. Now time to play :)

Delivered, 20 mins before the beginning of the slot, to central London work address by UK Mail. Instantly updated the delivery status online fwiw.

I considered it... then figured it would have been bad form asking him for my package if he'd been on an ambulance stretcher :D

I'm talking to UKMail on Twitter now, apparently they're still out for delivery, still waiting for an explanation as to why they say delayed.

UK Mail are useless!! They reckon mine left the depot at 8am, they said they have no idea where the driver is now.. or no way of contacting anyone to find out how long they will be..

Apparently all the time slots were sent in error and they were all incorrect!

Getting impatient now lol!

My 6 and 6+ was due to be delivered at the end of the month. Then it updated this morning to Monday, then I just got an e-mail from Apple saying they will both be delivered tomorrow!

Typical. I am having them delivered to my work address as Apple state on their site that deliveries are Mon-Fri!

I'm getting excited because I'm entering the last 3 minutes of my UKMail window! Right? RIGHT?!!! WHAT COULD POSSIBLI GO WRONG!

ive just received an email saying my phone will now be delivered tomorrow, instead of 22nd Sept. But UPS still say it is in Korea and don't give an estimated delivery date. The Apple site still says delivery on 22nd. Is this the case for anyone else?

Same for me.

Why didn't you go out and ask him?

Tried to. He was driving past the bottom of my drive as I was out the front door; carried on driving and was turning the corner off of the road by the time I'd got to the bottom of the drive.

I just got the same; only thing is the delivery address is my work  and I will not be there on Sat?

anyone know if it is an option to change address this close? erghhh

What's your tracking on UPS saying? I'm calling B/S to the idea that a phone that has arrived in Dubai in the last few hours will make to to Europe and out for delivery tomorrow.

UPS are saying delivery on Monday. That feels far more reasonable than the random email we got from Apple.

Northern Ireland people:

What I reckon has happened is that UK Mail have handed the phones off to some other courier to be delivered in Northern Ireland, and that they have something in their system which automatically sets deliveries to delays after x amount of time. This fits with the fact that everyone's seems to have changed to delayed at the same time. Unless they're only using one driver, or all their vans suffered a catastrophic breakdown at the same time, this seems unlikely.

Also, Syncreon (who are in charge of logistics) still says it's on time. So I hope they'll still get delivered today.

Ee

So i get my phone at 11am right on time from DPD and it's the wrong one. I ordered a 6 plus 64gb in silver and i was delivered a 6 plus 16gb in silver. Da **** am i going to do with 16gb?

I called EE and on their system i ordered a 64gb, i've sent someone elses handset. I now have to wait for EE to sent me a returns bag via 2nd class Royal Mail, sent back the 16gb handset, when they receive that they will send out a 64gb providing they have stock.

I'm looking at 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Their ballsup, they should be expediting the exchange - in store at minimum, priority courier ideally. 2nd class RM indeed! I'd be playing merry hell with them.

RELAX EVERYONE.... YOU WILL ALL GET IT TODAY

Go play a game or watch a movie, wash some dishes, do some ironing... it will come.... :apple:

They can't swap it in store as it's different stock. The poor guy at EE who answered my call really got a b*llocking. I called EE twice during the week on unrelated matters and both times at the end of the call i asked them the status of my order as i hadn't heard anything since ordering over the phone at 08:50 last friday and both times they confirmed it was a 64gb i'd ordered.

....well, according to this link:

My phone has been delivered to me here in Croydon!!!!!

...unfortunately, because I am still at work (it was signed by a neighbour - don't worry, we take parcels for each other all the time - their front door faces mine!!), can't get my mits on it til I get home at 6pm!!!! :(

I ordered the 16gb (no up front fee for this size on the cheaper tariffis) space grey iPhone 6 on Friday around 9:30 -10am over the phone with O2, after spending from 8am onwards trying to get through!!

That's shockingly bad service, I'd be straight on to the EE CEO to show him what a pathetic system he employs.
