UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Has anyone in the 7-10 day range that was expecting their phone on Monday been emailed by Apple and apparently it will be delivered on Saturday morning?
Not sure if this is an error, Ive had some strange tracking events on the UPS page! If anyone knows what this could be it would be great!

The general thinking is that email is somewhat optimistic and someone says they've spoken to Apple and been told it was an error. UPS is telling me Monday and personally that feels about right. It's significantly better than I expected when I ordered though so am not at all disappointed!
Is it a placebo effect but does anybody think the screen is easier to look at with the colours and contrasts compared to the iPhone 5?
It feels like the text and colours are popping off the screen rather than being sunken within the device.
This is on the iPhone 6, not the 6+

UPS has mine stuck in Korea......still doesn't say an estimated date......it did say 22nd this morning.....apple site still saying 22nd.......email says 20th but someone on here has just said it was an error.......dunno what to think any more.....don't wanna sit in all day tomorrow on a weekend if it doesn't come!! Guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow morning to see what the state of play is!
Well it seems as though mine has arrived. Even though the checker has said scanned in holdbay - rearranged delivery all day.
So like others have said, don't lose faith just yet if you haven't received yours. It would seem that their checker is experiencing serious lag.
The UK Mail checker now says delivered though.

Funny, I called them and they said it was all set for tomorrow. And that it was due to a reallocation of stock? But I wouldn't see the change to my online order till the early hours... time will tell!
Your observation that they were "sunken" is absolutely bang on. The layer of the screen which actually displays the picture is closer to your finger than in the past.
Yea, don't want to get my hopes up! lol I guess if tommorow we see "Out For Delivery" we will know! The wording of the email says we won't be able to track until saturday morning? So maybe stock that was meant for Phones4U is being sent our instead of the ones in Korea? I did have a really strange tracking event earlier about a rescheduling. But then arrived at Korea!

Mine started off with 7 - 10 day dispatch and delivery between 1st - 6th Oct but it got dispatched today and is currently on it's way from China with an estimated delivery date of 22nd Sept
I will be chuffed to bits if it turns up!Mine is also apparently stuck in Korea and doesn't give a delivery date. However in the tracking events it says "you're package will be forwarded to a UPS facility in the destination city." Could that mean it has left Korea on a non-UPS flight which means we can't see the packages until they get back into UPS hands?
Possibly! I have never seen these tracking events before, because the iPhones are shipped in such large numbers on pallets then I would imagine UPS does take special care of them, and would make the effort to get them here fast

Well the way the email says we can track on saturday I would imagine we will get a second dispatch email or something with an updated number? Absolutely no idea! But I remain hopeful!
I think they were in the 7 to 10 days period which means if theirs are in transit, maybe they are making ours right now and we will see movement soon. Might be just me hoping for too much but who knows.
Damn, I really wanted one person to say yes then at least I know something will happen soon. oh well more waiting to come

I was genuinely wondering whether the 6 Plus would be impractical but I feel totally vindicated - it's incredible. It's so thin, it really doesn't feel as big as I thought it would. And the screen, it's jawdroppingly good.
