UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

EDIT: most couriers work backwards so it's possible as you're closer to the depot you'll be one on way back
Have to say I am reading this all with envy, as well as enjoyment and excitement.
I'm really chuffed about the positive reviews on the 6 plus. Really can't wait to get hold of mine now.
After ordering my 128gb 6 plus at 9.05am on the Apple store, I got an estimated 3 - 4 weeks delivery ( 10/10 - 17/10 ). Guess I was about half hour to late.
Anyway, I have been a sad plumb and keep checking my res on an hourly basis to see if my estimate has changed. Nothing
I'm hoping now the first batch is all out, and that maybe a few cancellations start coming in I will see a change in the next few days.

UPS just delivered, Cardiff City Centre work address. To note, mobile number is printed on delivery sticker and it specifies not to leave with a neighbour. I will get round to opening it!!!
The phone arrived 2 hours ago. But already I'm on the phone to apple trying to sort out my icloud account - I am being prompted to enter passwords for 6/7 different icloud accounts! Weird, I know!
The apple leather case sits beautifully on the phone, however my screen protector is a wee bit too small.
Also spoke to the UPS guy and they have 60K iphone's to deliver tomorrow. Today they only had 15k or so.

So glad I decided not to play this game this year , enough stress in the world . Apple do many , many things brilliantly but launches aren't one of them
Its ridiculous that E-B***ards can source phones and charge double for them while people turning up for launch day are disappointed which is never ' good business practice ' .

Been waiting in all day. Just turned to Delayed. Called UK Mail and apparently Apple told them not to deliver.

I have no idea, never been to an apple store on a launch day. The real tragedy is that i specifically picked as late a slot as possible, hoping to just pop grab one and leave. The pictures from covent garden this morning looked horrific and I'm not hopeful that it will be much better come 8pm.

If you have your email - they take your details and its all done with apple type efficiency. you do need photo id though, but all in all a pretty smooth
Im guessing it is too much for UPS to lay on enough extra capacity for a couple of days each launch. UKMail handle all the small items for Apple so it's logical to use them to carry the additional loads.
