UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Fingers crossed for you 🙂 mine had been sitting in Shanghai since Thurs lunch time. There are a few flights throughout the night from Incheon to Shanghai and Shenzen/Hong Kong.

Cancel once you've got the phone, there's been a few people who have actually missed out so just be careful first.

I did it last night at exactly midnight and by 12:04am I had a iPhone 6 SG 128gb reserved for me at Westfield Stratford City for pick up between 11-12 perfectly selected during my lunch break at work.
Got to the store at 11:10 went to the reservation line outside the store waited 3 seconds, checked in and was taken inside where the guy went to the back collected my reserved phone then asked if I wanted any accessories. Only thing I was after was applecare+ so added that. Even traded in my iPhone 5s then and there to bring the cost down some.
In and out in 15 minutes with plenty of chit chat in between. No crazy lines that wrap around small villages, no camping for hours\days outside.
When I managed to get a reservation last night my exact words where "It couldn't have really just been that easy, could it?"
It really was for me and I'm still a little taken back.
Have read of some posts on here that some have gone to their reservation only to be told that there was a glitch and an overbooking. I really do sympathies with those as thats gutting to say the least.

tl;dr: yes it was totally worth it, got myself a iPhone 6 SG 128gb which is exactly what I was after.

They just replied pretty sternly I'm sorry they are all reserved It's best to try returning again tomorrow as there are constant deliveries.
He just replies oh I can't I'm flying back home tomorrow...........

I will, but probably cos its sunday and there's limited deliveries on sundays I assume.

It is probably true, I was hoping Leeds or Meadowhall might have had some deliveries tomorrow.
That maybe true, but I can't believe all four stores in London and not a single one is going to get a delivery. Here is hoping.
I would like to warn people about the Black Silicone Apple cases, they are not black at all, they are a middling grey, not even close to black. 🙁 And yes looking at the case on the Apple website now I can see it's grey, but the thing is called black, its even on the box.

It will be down till Monday. They won't have any new deliveries on a Sunday will they!? Saturday would have been reservations that were returned or not picked up by people on launch day etc.
Yeah its Apple, they messed up the pre order launch so im not surprised but thats life.
