UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Apart from the keynote and preorder fiasco i would say this reserve and collect has been an improvement on the previous years or more precisely when the iPhone 5 came out and one would send a sort of request on the website in and if they had an iPhone available they'd email you back by 8 or 9 pm(which could be a 12 hr wait) but if not complete radio silence,no "there is no stock","no we are sorry we have sold out" and you spend the whole time checking for an email that would probably never come.
This is so disappointing 
I first pre-ordered last week with phones4u but obviously they went into admin so I wasn't going to get my order...and even that was after a lot of hassle after Santander kept blocking the preorder payment thinking it was fraud.
I called the Stratford store at 9am this morning when they opened and was told to reserve at midnight. Since I live in Stratford i went to visit them to ask more about it, told me the same thing, that I could definitely reserve one at midnight for collection tomorrow (today)
I'm just finding this whole thing rather frustrated. It might be the first and last time I ever get something around the time of launch. The most frustrating part is that there is hardly anywhere you can buy the iphone SIM Free and I know that if i'd bought on contract, I couldn't have had it on friday already! It's like there is enough, they just don't want to sell them outright!

When did stratford have the 6+ available? that's exactly the one I wanted.

I initially looked for stock at The oracle but there was none available that is when i checked the stratford stock and only space grey 6+ 64 were available. I even received a confirmation email straight away. Spent whole day in anticipation and in the end had a long boring and disappointing drive back

it was around 12:15 last night when i reserved
I had no idea that I could even reserve until this morning, just typical that it doesn't work now!
Make sure you have the webpage on and refresh again around 6 in the morning and 12 midnight .Regatding 6plus there were some available ,white city had the 128 gb last night but you have to be quick but at 9 pm there no single one available in uk stores according iphone6 checker
The guy in the apple store in stratford earlier seemed certain that i would be able to order tonight for pickup tomorrow unless he lied to me.. or just plain didn't know..
how comes it's likely to be either 6am or 12? can't it come back at any time?

My best bet is this is what happened...
Apple planned to open up the reserve system again last night & some stock was shown as available due to iPhones being returned & swapped etc. A lot of people seemed to have reserved an iPhone last night however turned up today (actually yesterday) and Apple did not have them in stock... obviously not anticipating & aware that stock would be made publicly reservable. It is uncommon for couriers and delivery companies to work on a Sunday therefore Apple will not be updating stock levels until Monday when they receive a delivery. It's been said around here before that Apple itself doesn't know what or how many iPhones they will receive in a shipment therefore I would not be surprised if Apple's reserve pages doesn't update at 12.01am on Monday 22 September because they haven't received an actual delivery yet. My bet would be that the page will update once the delivery has been made and allocations have been made for customers to reserve online.

Ah it might come earlier, mine is 10th to 17th and i ordered 12th september, there is hope.

Probably means too much many people are trying to access the system at the same time.
Might be hope for us that have their UPS status as stuck in Korea. UPS9 left there 20 minutes ago for Almaty! Same route my colleagues phone took and his arrived in Korea about 4 hours before mine.
Still no Departure Scan on my tracking though.
