Thinking about it... anyone interested in the :apple:Watch? A few people I know IRL are lol, I am too...
I'm gonna get one to companion my 6 Plus, when it comes out ofc.

I have a Pebble... novelty was fun for a while but haven't worn it in a few months, its battery lasted about 5-7 days and I get sick of leaving the house and then it dies before the end of the day. Will probably skip the :apple: Watch.

----------

a new Airport Express

Thumbs up for that one... want one with 802.11ac. Didn't like that giant tower of a Extreme.

The tower ones have been the best I have had for wi-fi coverage although my Tower Capsule has been replaced twice.

Why can't Apple make these things and accessories in black now!

The little Express has always been stellar for me, the Virgin router I have is just in modem mode with all Wi-Fi off, run it all into the Express then have an 8-port gigabit switch off that for my NAS/IP cameras/rack in the garage. Could do with a few more configuration options in the Apple Routers as it's pretty simple but I just use the DHCP server in my NAS rather than in the Router to get around the lack of options I needed.

I use an Extreme instead of the BT Hub on my Infinity connection and its been solid. But I have a strange shaped house so need lots of the things to get total coverage. The express is on its last legs :(

Still no iPhone

Hi all, first post and wanted to share my current experience:

I pre-ordered a i6+ on the 12th and was informed of a 19th delivery. Nothing came, had a call with UKMail who told me it was out for delivery but their driver couldn't complete it. As a result, it would be delivered the next day (20th). Nothing came again, status was eventually updated to delayed with an estimated delivery date of the 22nd this time. Today, the status of my order is still delayed but the estimate as been removed.

This is getting pretty annoying. The delivery address is in the City of London which is not exactly a secluded place. I don't mind waiting for the phone, but given its price I would have liked Apple to do a better job at ensuring it reached paying customers on the announced delivery date. And I find UKMail's display of such logistical shortcomings astonishing.

Anyway, this sucks...

I would be calling them first thing, and either ask for an explanation why it hasn't been delivered so that you can relay it to Apple and ask for a confirmed date. Or go collect it. In fairness despite the silly email, this is the first time I have seen this sort of thing from Apple and its shipping partners. Normally they are more efficient

Newtownabbey, United Kingdom 22/09/2014 7:36 Out for Delivery

I have the same issue, must be same driver!

Mine was supposed to be delivered to City of London on Friday, got a delivery time in the end of 18-19:30, so waited behind at work. The driver never showed but I was told he would before 8pm so I waited till then. Gave up in the end and rang UK mail on Saturday morning who said it would be with me between 9-6 today. Logged into UK Mail this morning only to see that my parcel is still apparently out for delivery from Friday.

So after another frustrated call to UK Mail apparently the driver tried at midnight on Friday, which the call centre guy said must be wrong. He couldn't actually locate my parcel at all in the end. He is going to get the depot to call me asap but I don't hold out much hope. Seems whoever they employed to deliver to the city which I have no doubt will have had a lot of iPhone orders on Friday has really messed up.

Let me know if you get any joy.

Thank god UPS are delivering ours and not UK Mail :)

I second that... I'm still waiting for my pre-order to be delivered... according to UKMail's in-depth tracker it's not been scanned for delivery today yet! (despite their regular tracking page stating I'll get it between 08:45 - 09:45)

I recall my 4S pre-order arriving bang on the day via UPS. Sadly not so with UKMail for me this time (one of the unlucky ones as many others got theirs OK)

My MacBook Pro Retina got delivered by UK Mail and they turned the next day from when it was due and at about 10pm at night!

Out for delivery this morning in Leeds at 06:49:D! If I have learned anything from this year, I'm not selling my phone before the launch ever again as using an iPhone 4 as an interim phone has been horrible.

The only downside is that I'm at work till 6PM and then playing football till 8:30 so won't be able to play with it until late on tonight :(.

I heard that you pulled a hamstring this afternoon so you couldn't go to football. ;)

Does anyone know which is the closest UPS depot to Queen's Park in London?
I'm "working" from home, waiting for it, but just to have an idea of how far it could be
