UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Guys for you who got the iPhone earlier than the estimated date. Did apple change any of the bellow info in your account to tell you that there is a change or it was just an email with the new delivery time and date???

I think if you ring UPS CS they can contact the driver and you can get an estimated time? 🙂

Both.. My order status changed to Preparing for Dispatch then Dispatched, once it dispatched I got an email stating the new delivery date. I should imagine you will have your phone within the next 10 days 🙂

Mine dispatch within so many days didn't change, even when it was stating that is preparing to despatch. It only changed to confirm the delivery date once a UPS tracking number has been generated. At that point I received an email and text message. Guess you can stop refreshing
 
"We've left the package in our facility. This may cause at least one business day delay. / Delivery will be rescheduled."

What the hell?? It was already 'out for delivery' 😡

EDIT: Oh ffs, first - Saturday, now again messed up today...

As soon as it showed preparing to dispatch in order status, I was able to track on the ups.com tracking page. Just "track by reference" and use your order number (starts with W) and destination country. I think actual "dispatched" status was more than day after I could already see the phone was ready to go in China.

What depot is your iPhone at? Can't you just go and pick it up.

Not UPS by any chance??

I had four days of delays in getting my replacement iPad when they continually messed up delivery and redelivery. Apple were great about it and I got a free Smart Case for the inconvenience - might be worth a call 😉

I was patiently (not) waiting for my iPhone 6 on Friday, refreshing the DPD tracking, watching it get closer and closer until I was the next delivery. Upon next refresh a message said the driver couldn't find my office and delivery would be rescheduled! Five minutes later I saw a DPD van go past and back past the office and stop down the road so I ran out and collared him.
 
Here's the fun my 12th Sep pre-order has been having 😀
(Apparently the driver couldn't find our business address last Friday... shocking really, considering they have satnav and a phone number to call - which he didn't bother to do).
No matter, as soon as it arrives it's getting returned as I scored a reservation at midnight Friday night to pickup from a local store on Sat am.
Hope you all get yours on time and enjoy using it... it is indeed a thing of beauty!

I see.. Thanks i hope there will be a change soon. 10-17 Oct is too long 😕
 
So, I think my 6 is too big. 🙁

The 4" screen on my 5 was perfect for one haded use; I could touch the whole screen while securely gripping the phone, i cant now. 🙁 🙁 Seriously considering returning it.
 
The wife made it home and no card!! 😀

Now she better listen out good and proper haha 😀

On a different note....Apple seem to have charged me once and also put another one on hold for some reason.....phoned the bank and they said it would go back into my account on friday if they don't claim it.....but at the moment this extra £700 charge has put me overdrawn and they charge me every day!! (stupid barclays!).....they said i'd need to phone apple about it.......so.....trying to get through to apple as you can imagine is hell.....anyone have any other suggestions??
 
Mine are here! Was one of the 19:10 Korea gang- Arrived at 09.30 this morning - amazing - I had assumed I wouldn't get them until tomorrow!
 
Whoop de doo! My 6 plus 128 has just arrived!
Anyone else got a plain white box?
