UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Was lucky as i have two apple stores local to me & both had stock so i finally managed to reserve the 6+ 64GB,Got to rush to get there now as i'm working tomorrow so had to settle for 3-4 o'clock pick up.
Just hope theres no mess ups so i'm keeping my 10th-17th on order just incase.

Keep trying & I'm sure you'll get one. There was at least one of each colour when I placed my order so, you must have just missed out. The trick seems to be to continuously press the refresh button & logon as fast as you can!

I was actually prepared to travel wherever I could get one tomorrow - Exeter, Plymouth, Aberdeen if necessary as time was running out fast - I'm back at work in a few days time.

Time for bed now as I'm up at 05:00 to take the other half to work. I've rather stupidly selected a collection time of 10:00 to 11:00 so, I don't think I'll dare go back to bed in case I sleep in. :p

yeah i agree, iv been trying since friday, managed to get one reserved at stratford, did a 110 mile round trip and the Apple geniuses turned me away on Saturday by saying that they had some glitch :( Have managed to reserve one for tomorrow, lets see what happens.

Try again in the morning. I reserved the Wife's yesterday - I think it was just after 11:00. Again - if you've got time just keep clicking on the refresh button as clearly every second counts.

You're gonna love it. I have downloaded every app that have ever bought, so I can re-live all the updated games and weird things I downloaded in glorious large screen technicolor.

Yeah I'm not cancelling mine.. i'm usually pretty busy at work until at least 2pm anyway so i figured i'd pick up on my way home since then i won't have it with me and wanting to play with it all day....

I was worried about this before we set off to Manchester today. I rang the store beforehand just in case. On the phone for 10 minutes but, finally got through to someone who confirmed they were expecting us. Better than a wasted journey.

I went for first thing in the morning. Heard a few horror stories of peoples reservations falling through. Probably just fear mongering but i didn't want to risk it.

Yeah i heard that... I get the feeling that they seem to have a little more stock now the crazy first weekend excitement has died down maybe just a tiny bit (still hard to get hold of...)

I managed to pick up a 16gb silver iphone 6 on saturday from PC World Stratford - Amazingly they didn't display them and I think they only had a handful. I haven't even opened it though, i definitely want the 6+ i've decided... I'll probably just list it on gumtree

Thanks but it's fine. I will just keep going and trying. I do want iphone 6 plus space grey in 64gb Leeds is best tbh

I absolutely guarantee you its not fear mongering - it happened to me. Apple were extremely embarrassed about it and I got a voucher etc. it only happened on Saturday, not since as far as I'm aware. But don't cancel online til it's confirmed!

Nah keep the same size and colour if I don't get it tomorrow as a reservation I'll just wait for online order

Well I work like 15 min from the store. So I think I can do with the lunch break

I was on refreshing the page as soon as it was available, so I get the impression they didn't get any stock in today in any of the stores.

Best bet is to check from about 9am onwards, as the back of house staff will be in from 8am I think.

Err plenty of people reserved successfully so there was stock. Was gone in less than 5 mins though!
