Nah I'm here, the mother in law turned up. Jeez was that a long rant at me. She doesnt like me. Any changes? news?

It's a stunning phone and I'm upset to give it up, but personally the size just isn't practical for me and my every day life.

I can't use it one handed without feeling like I'll drop it, and I don't want to have to put down bags of shopping if I'm out, or put my drink on the bar if I'm out for drinks with friends, or pause walking my shopping trolley in Tesco to check something on my phone etc. (the list is going to be endless for me).

If I had the money I would definitely keep it as an indoor, or sitting down device as the screen is amazing, and the size is great for two handed use, but that defeats the idea of a 'mobile' phone to me.

I'm jealous of all the people who the Plus worked out for. It's been a short but sweet weekend with it.

I hope I'm making the right decision.

This post, in its entirity, is my view also.

Gutted, but gut says it's got to go.

But I don't hate on anyone with a Plus - its a great device in so many ways.
 
Has anyone who had their reservation cancelled redeemed their £25 voucher and free case?

Apple customer service have no idea. Not sure if it's a branch-specific thing.

Going to ring the bullring tonight after work
 
Waitrose is the best Plus-Friendly supermarket - just use those little shopping list holders to keep your Plus in place!

Did I miss much btw? My reservation is later today, and in the meantime I've had to actually do work and everything :(

Branch specific - some people got nothing. It's up to the store I think. The £25 was what apple stores were told to give, the free cases I believe were if you got 1) a nice apple rep and 2) didn't kick off and act like a moron.

Also it's an Apple Retail Voucher which can be used on the online store or the retail stores. It's not an iTunes voucher though, but it can be exchanged for one (ie: you can buy a £25 itunes voucher with your voucher!!)

You should definitely tell her you want to spend £600+ on a phone and need your bf to drive you to Manchester tonight.

Oh she hates me, I dont care but I was trying to get to my laptop and she wouldnt let me but I plastered a smile on my face and then got rid of her. Damn that was stressful.
 
I'm gonna call this now.... the stock levels are tasking, but I think they are probably better than the 5 launch?

Sometimes we went days after launch with no reservations UK wide.

At least there's something to chase this year.

Agree with that..lets just hope 6 plus stock starts to become more readily available before I have a nervous breakdown..
 
Just got back from Leeds with my new space grey 64gb 6 plus!

I enquired as to how many 6 plus' they were receiving daily - only about 10 or 12 at most was the answer. I guess this explains as to why they are available one minute & gone the next. I was told I was lucky to get a grey one as they appear to be fewer in number than the other two. The iphone 6 are arriving at a greater number.

He confirmed that phones can become available at any time throughout the day. So, just because there never seems to be any delivered to certain stores, I suspect that's almost certainly not the case; it's just that the phones are reserved almost immediately, by whoever happens to be on the system at that time.

I had my reservation cancelled at the Stratford store but i was never offered anything.
 
Has anyone gone in for their reservation early?
I have a reservation for 6-7pm at the bullring but will probably go around 5 as I'm working in Coventry today and have to pass Birmingham to get home.

I'm hoping they won't just make me wait..

depends on how many people there are ahead of you,i went 1 hr earlier this morning and i was attended to immediately

I think the problem is they are still very busy. Manchester Arndale was chaotic yesterday afternoon - they basically wanted my Wife to buy the phone & get straight out of the door.
