I was hoping I'd wake up and the networks would have released the tariffs at least by now (we're about an hour and a half away!) but seems like they are really going to wait until 8am doesn't it!



Had a quick catch up on the thread and that's what most of us seem to think!

Yea no such luck with the networks I'm afraid, I have been checking through out the night.

It's pretty bad to be honest I would of thought they'd put them up yesterday all ready for today.

I'll be getting mine from apple so don't need to worry but for you other guys it's crazy!

I think it's disgusting how the carriers still don't have prices up. Really thinking of buying a ip plus 64gb from Apple and screw them. I am out of contract on Vodafone.

I live in the sticks and struggle with a mobile signal indoors so I've always bought sim-free as I've chopped and changed on the provider depending on how the signal is doing.

I shouldn't really bother as all of them are poor. No 3G, no DAB and terrible broadband. I live in the Armpit of Technology.

I wonder why apple store aren't doing upgrades this year. You used to be able to reserve for store pick up and upgrade on any network. I took a 2 year contract out in store. Can't remember which carrier though.

Didn't think they had that option in the UK site... Always thought this was in the US side.

Lots of issues with it. I done it one year and the apple staff couldn't complete the transaction. They were working untrained on operator systems. After a five hour wait in line I went away empty handed!

That's not good... I suppose they learned their lesson now and took it off, left it to the carrier (since they have more experience in this) to deal with it now.

I wouldn't either if you get yours delivered by UPS, they never arrive early for any of my deliveries... its always between 11am & 3pm :|

I hate those vague estimates. At least make it a half hour window, not several hours.

That option was available before in the UK. For the 4 or 4S.

They definitely offered it for the iPhone 5 after release. Maybe that might be the case once the phone is launched.

I remember having to log into Apple every night at around 8pm where you reserved a phone at your local Apple store. I think it took me 4 days of trying before I got a contract phone. Once you had it reserved they offered you the contract deals for that reserved phone.

My flatmate at the time was trying for an iPhone 5 SIM free on the reservation system and it took him two weeks before he got one.

I had a delivery a few weeks ago can't remember who but they text you in the morning and gave me an hour window. All delivery company's should do this IMO

Have now decided not to get a contract and to purchase it sim free from Apple, mainly because ideally I want to hold the phone before I purchase as I didn't really like my HTC One's size (which is 4.7 inches too) in comparison to my 5s. But I just want to get it on release day still!

Changed my mind last minute to the 5.5 iPHone 6. Just hope I get out of morning handover in time Might have to pretend to have a bout of explosive diarroah and run out.
