UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Picked my Silver 16Gb Plus at lunchtime today from metro centre after bagging it last night, totally love it, best iPhone I've had🙂
 
Trying to download iOS 8.0.1 on my iPad whilst waiting for my iPhone 6 to dispatch. It's telling me it will take 13 hours to download, I wonder which will happen first.

If they made purple, I wouldn't have been able to resist. Same goes for if they mad a flip case so the front of the phone is protected when thrown into a bag.
 
My order just switched to "Preparing for Dispatch!"

Ordered from Apple UK on 12 September. Getting the iPhone 6, 64GB, Space Grey.

So excited! Although, the delivery remains (at least for now) the 7th to the 10th of October.
 
Im now on hold with apple.

Im starting to lose the plot.

It seems everyone in this thread had now managed to get their hand on an iPhone but me.

It doesn't seem fair when you get your order in first, yet others are able to walk in and grab theirs from non existent stock.

And looking on ebay makes me even more angry.

The above is not aimed at anyone in this thread who managed to get an online res. Its great you have been able to get yours.

I'm just hoping it won't be to much longer for me 🙁
 
Finally set up my iPhone 6 Plus... it's amazing. Thanks for people in this thread answering my questions about the reservation process, and to l3uddz for the stock checking notifications!

To everyone else waiting - you won't be disappointed when it arrives.
 
Don't get me wrong the stock checker is great and i tried looking at that first for a couple of nights but this is what i did last night

Was already on the reserve page so cmd r constantly at 12pm, by about 12.04 i was in and it already had my apple ID saved so just had to quickly type the silly numbers / letters and i was in, really quick

i then hit store i wanted and the phones were listed so bagged my 16gb plus in silver

i think i had looked and checked the stocker page first it may have delayed and missed although there did seem to be a fair bit stock last night

so just a heads up what worked for me........ trick is at present you have to be fast !!

good luck with all trying tonight, may stay up to check what stocks like ... only joking night shifts over for another year
 
Mine is all nicely set up and snuggled in its temporary case until I can find one I want. I was very lucky they let me swap my reserved silver 6+ for the space grey I really wanted. I only got that reservation last night as DH woke me up at 11.58pm when he came home from the pub!
