UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

I just got back after queuing for 2hrs at white city for reservation line picking up the 6+ gold 16gb. Reserved it today at around 5pm.
 
I ordered on the 1st preorder day and have a an expected delivery date of 10-17/10 (6+ space grey 64Gb) Been on holiday ever since so not been too stressed about it. I have been keeping an eye on this thread tho' and was hoping the delivery might be bumped forward a week, but still showing as processing.

I'm back on Saturday and so have started checking the in store reservations. There's non showing up in Aberdeen as yet, however, if I manage to preorder one can I select any pick up time in the next few days, or is it next day only?

yeah i did thanks tried to order one for you at the same time but you could only order the one at a time then i remembered you had the app and knew there was stock in leeds didn't realise you would sleep through lol glad you got yours in the end though :D

the pick up time is for the same day only so for example if you was to order at 00:01 it would be thursday only the only choice you have is time :D

glad you managed to bag one i had just fallen asleep then my phone started going crazy don't think I've ever typed so fast lol :D

Just to clarify this point, sim free from Apple is completely unlocked and can be used with as many sims as you want, phones from Three are also completely locked.

However, if you buy a sim free iPhone from CarPhoneWarehouse it will indeed lock to the first UK sim you insert and will then be the same as if it was a locked phone bought from a network, they seem to be unique in mobile retail in this respect.
 
Ok so i'm getting a little worried, i have a iPhone 6+ on order and over the last couple of days i have heard about the iPhone bending issue. I've also seen a few people on the forum having problems/defective units and having to return them. I hope i haven't made the wrong decision with the 6+ :eek:

I heard thanks and yeah got it, cancelled online, need to activate sim tomorrow morning and i'm ready to go :D

Thanks:) Car is insane. Acceleration like nothing else you have experienced. Pretty expensive to run/maintain though.

Chuffed to bits with my 6 plus. met my UPS guy at lunchtime so it took approx 24 hrs from Essex to Algarve - not bad! Then I go and update to 8.01 and as you've read elsewhere, no cellular or touch ID. Didn't realise as installed whilst driving to work. Got there and laid on the usual 'Is that an iphone 6 plus in your pocket or are you glad to see me?' routine only to extract a dud phone! Sorting it now but what a pain.

Hopefully although isn't yet dispatched. Also I can't track it either :( Hoping for just after midnight it should dispatch. I think it will arrive no later than Monday. Do they deliver on Saturdays?

Soon I'm sure it should be dispatched. I think for Apple they do deliver on Saturdays. Let's hope they do. At least now you know there is a phone allocated to you :)
 
Just returned the wifes 6 at Bluewater. They had tons of stock on general sale, 6 and 6+.

Might be worth a call to them or a trip down there in the morning if you live close enough.
