UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

A fun little datapoint for people still reading this thread - if you have lots of Internet and an 802.11ac wifi access point, you can look forward to this:

(taken from my iPhone 6, connected to a current-generation 802.11ac Airport Extreme, on a Virgin Media 120Mb down, 12Mb up cable connection).

tl;dr, my phone can fully max out my internet connection

(for reference, the 5S tops out at about 70Mb/s)

I had ordered my 6+ on the 12th as well and was still showing same delivery date. Last night at midnight, I reserved one from the Trafford Centre and today I have my device!! No more waiting!!!

Nearest Apple Store is 55 miles away and that plus work=no chance lol

I was so lucky! Strolled into the Apple Store in Leicester and swapped my iPhone 6 for a plus model! I was so fortunate, no reservation. They didn't go up on the website in lead to believe? Bit strange.

Ah well if there is no change by tomorow night, then you should panic but if delivery is for monday/tuesday, it will be in transit over weekend so my feeling is that it will move tomorrow night sometime

Ordered same as you, 9am on 12th, mine is has moved up to 10th-15th
(not much though), and is showing 'preparing to dispatch' since yesterday. I figure this must mean our phones have been made and will be dispatched this week. They wouldn't prepare phones that didn't exist and others seem to get theirs quite soon after the preparing for dispatch status.

I haven't yet.

What's made me consider changing? Mainly that this 6 I have has a slight screen fault, and that maybe the black 6+ will look n feel smaller than the White...

Plus there's the fact that this iPhone 6 is very similar to the 5 I had, the 4s, the 4, 3GS and 3G I had before that! It's just another iPhone. The plus is at least different

At midnight today a fair amount of stock came in to Birmingham and Solihull Apple Stores.
I grabbed a 64 Gold Plus and there was still plus models available once I had finished my reservation.
Hopefully for those wanting for a Plus stock is starting to come through in greater quantities.

There seemed to be a lot of stick around today but I actually walked into my local store and they had stock which ran out in about an hour. I was really lucky!

Glad you worked out my post because it made f all sense after autocorrect had its way.

To be fair id park at trinity and not see much of it! Went to some weird German market last Christmas in Leeds. That was ok. Had some mulled wine

Most banks take 2-3 days to process the refund. Has nothing to do with Apple.
