I'm thinking of returning my 6+. It's a bit too impractical for me. Do you guys know if Apple deposit the money straight back into your account or does it take a few days?

Few days though mine was within 2 days

If exchanging they will often use a gift card to return funds tooand buy another immediately. Saves waiting or risking hitting a credit limit etc

Most banks take 2-3 days to process the refund. Has nothing to do with Apple.

Okay cool, thanks.

I want to go from 6+ to 6. Would they just give me gift card of the 6 value and refund the difference?

For those that have stayed up for the midnight reserve refreshes, do most stores get stock or is it just a handful? I'm after a 6 Plus.

There was stock in a number of stores, I used the iphone6stockchecker web page to have a look last night (just out of curiosity as I already have my phone), and was surprised by how many stores got stock.

Apple is probably doing this to tease me, but seems odd ;) perhaps they're updating my order status... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1411684090.981638.jpg

Don't wind her up :p lol

Ah well if there is no change by tomorow night, then you should panic but if delivery is for monday/tuesday, it will be in transit over weekend so my feeling is that it will move tomorrow night sometime

Yeah don't tell me that lol.... Ugh I hope it comes tomorrow

No mine does that sometimes it's just a bug in the app

Wow pretty much everything in stock for reservation - if you haven't received yours yet from Apple Store Online, just reserve, collect and cancel your order!

ok 3 questions:

1) if you reserve an iPhone at apple store and turn up on time is it guaranteed that you will get one?

2) if you miss your reservation do you get charged in any way?

3) how do they know your the one that reserved that particular item, do they ask you your name/email/number?

1. Some people have had issues first couple days due to a glitch in their booking system. But I believe it's been resolved and you're pretty much guaranteed one now.

2. Gets recycled into the next days stock if you don't collect it end of day. Just phone up if your gonna be a couple hours late.

3. For me they just asked me my name. But take ID with you just in case. On the Apple website it does say to bring ID.

They actually looked at my id and the printed out confirmation email when I went to pick mine up, so make sure you take your id and ideally take the reservation confirmation email =)

1) Yes.

2) Nope. Apple can put your reserved phone back into circulation if you are 3 hours over your reservation time.

3) Name, email, etc.

So guys, I've been offered a rather generous discount through my work on EE contracts so I've reserved a 128GB 6+ for in-store pickup tomorrow.

In two minds about it. I'll save about 40% on line rental, though it does mean being trapped in a two year contract

Last time I dealt with EE they were **** so I'm not too keen on dealing with them again.

Any thoughts?

I preordered at 9am on the 12th and still have processing for 10-17 delivery. Seems a bit pointless pre-ordering now there is stock available for in store pick up. To be honest I'm ****ed off about this, surely apple should be prioritising the earlier pre-orders before the Instore reservations. Especially when there are people buying multiple phones from stores to sell on at a profit.

Thanks luuddz and everyone on here for helping me get my 6 plus 64GB space grey. Picked it up yesterday morning and opened it last night. Absolutely love it and looking forward to developers updating their apps for this gorgeous display. It's a big phone compared to what we are all generally used to but I can't help but feel that I'm already used to using it now after only 12 hours of use.

Seems to be improving every day for instore reservations as still plenty of stock this morning, think i will go this route next year rather than pre order, ok i have to wait a week after pre release but can walk in and collect like i have for my 6+ rather than wait 3-4 weeks

Couldn't agree more, watching everyone get their phones is so annoying
