What is EE like as a network? I've just been on their Facebook page, and the amount of negativity on their page is ridiculous.

Im on EE previously tmobile for a few years now. Have the 6 plus and on the 4G double speed tariff and live in London. From my experience i have had no issue everythings works as it should and the 4G is pretty fast as it should be. They also do good deals if you haggle with them. I have unlimited text and minutes and 5GB 4G for £18 a month. Only after i said im going to leave them.

I have 4 lines with EE and never had a problem, but I must say there customer service is by far the worse I have ever seen, it seems they just don't care about there customers, they lie too, I think being the biggest UK network has gone to there heads, and I'm sure if they continue it will end in tears for them.

P.S. Do a Twitter search for @EE and see what I mean.

Adam.

Hard to tell the difference !

It's PU leather so doubt anyone will notice till there case gets scratch up,
Best thing to avoid ebay if your after a original leather case,
The silicone fakes currently are only for the 6 plus and there are also hard to tell apart and cost £10,
Just the packaging on the back looks a bit washed out and you can only see that if you have the original packaging next to it

Hoping my one gets here on Monday as there already pushed the day back once,
Suppose to get it on the 3rd and now it says 6th,
if I didn't cancel my first order would have received it last week,
But after playing around with my mates 6 plus, the size just wasn't for me

Well went to the apple store today.

Have to say I think the iPhone 6 is lovely. Love the design. I do think its big (as I've said I'm not a fan of big phones), but it doesn't feel overly big in the hand.

For me it was always going to be a case of which did I want to have to get used to. A larger phone or a new OS (android). And having seen it I have decided on the larger screen.

Downside is just playing with the phone for twenty minutes reminded me of the annoyances of an iPhone that isn't jailbroken. Something I'd basically forgotten about.

So, I've decided to wait for the jailbreak then pick up an iPhone 6. I'm really excited to get a new iPhone now!

I am with EE currently on their sim only contract and I would say they are great , their 4 G coverage is fantastic , they offer visual voicemail like 02, they are going to offer calls over wifi this month on the downside they don't do unlimited data plans like 3 and if you get your device from them you have to pay to unlock it and it takes days if not more

I'm thinking of jumping ship from Vodafone to EE. I'm on sim only. £26 for unlimited calls and text and 4G with 6GB data. Don't think they can beat that?

EE are currently doing unlimited calls and texts and 10gb data for 27 pounds if I'm not mistaken , I'm on that tariff with them though I get 40 percent off due to a friends and family add on I have

EE are the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned,

They deal with coverage pretty well. But if you need to contact them with an issue, good luck.

Terrible customer service. They will lie through their teeth. They will cut you off after putting you on hold for 20 minutes.

They have over charged my 3 times on my bill for no reason. When I ordered a nano sim, they charged me £8 dpd delivery when I didn't even ask for it. I'm now in the process of trying to unlock my old iPhone 4. Its been a week and they said it would take 2 days. Each time I phone, they promise to chase it up and I will be contacted in 48 hours. I never get a response.

They also put their prices up every year. Which is a joke.

I have just moved to three. I moved my wife as well. The cost of two contacts with three is the same as my old contract with ee. And we both get a lot more with three.

I was concerned about coverage with three but so far it's been on par, if not better then ee.

The thing is. This is just my experience. Had I have not had any problems I would say ee was ok.

You just got to hope nothing goes wrong.

Hey everyone, new poster here, but I've been following this thread for a few weeks now. I ordered the iPhone 6 64GB Silver on 24 Sept and have been following its tracking on TNT. This is what it looks like atm:

04 Oct 2014 01:16:00 Northampton Hub Delay. Recovery Action Underway
02 Oct 2014 19:46:52 Arnhem Hub Shipment In Transit.
02 Oct 2014 13:46:24 Arnhem Hub Shipment In Transit.
02 Oct 2014 01:01:48 Pudong International Airport Shipment In Transit.
30 Sep 2014 23:12:51 Pudong International Airport Shipment Received At Tnt Location
30 Sep 2014 22:47:00 Shanghai Shipment In Transit.
30 Sep 2014 22:07:45 Shanghai Shipment In Transit.
30 Sep 2014 20:19:19 Shanghai Pudong Depot Shipment Collected From Customer

Typical isn't it?! It makes it 9,000 miles from Shanghai to the UK with no problem, and gets delayed in Northampton, a few hours away  :D

Looking forward to getting it though. Est delivery is Monday 6th, and both TNT and Apple are still showing this, despite the delay so fingers crossed.

Wifi calling appears to have slipped, EE are saying "Autumn", so sometime before the end of December.

EE have recently done this to both my Wife & I. Ordered replacement Nano SIMs same day. Hers arrived with DPD the following day for which they charged £6 & mine arrived a couple of days later (Saturday) for which I have been charged £10!

There website clearly states that SIM cards are sent by Royal Mail First Class Post! Currently in the process of complaining.

Only reason we stay with them is that we have old T Mobile contracts, which include ALL 08 numbers in the free minutes.

I had exactly the same problem unlocking my iPhone 5 with them but I finally got it unlocked the other day after I rang to ask them to either refund the twenty quid they charged me or unlock it asap and look and behold they didn't give me the usual bs of waiting for an elusive email they just sent me the instructions immediately by text

Good morning all.

Just an update.

Ordered SG 64 GB 6 Plus on 22nd September. Est delivery 20th - 27th Oct.

Been processing for last 2 wks. I'd hope for some movement sometime this coming week.

Fingers crossed.

Regards

James

While i'm waiting for my iPhone 6+ to be dispatched, i have been thinking about Apple Care+ does anyone think it's worth getting? i have never had it before because i'm careful with my devices, but with the iPhone 6+ being a lot bigger, and the fact that i commute, there is a chance for accidents to happen.

It's £79 i think for Apple Care+ and after chatting with an Apple rep, i can add it after my phone arrives by calling Apple Care.

Plus you have to pay an excess per claim. If you can get it through your bank it will be better. Barclays have a pretty decent tech pack. For £8 a month and it covers 2 phones and other devices. Also most house insurance also covers phones.

My wife and I both had issues with EE over the amount of data we had used. The app would tell us one thing one day then a totally different thing the next. Customer support was not helpful at all.

I have since left and gone onto Three. My wife will be following suit when her contract is up.
