Based on those prices, O2 might be losing my business...

I've got a loyalty discount applied to my account at the moment though, so I'll give them a chance to save it. Question though: if you ring up and ask for a PAC, are you committed to leaving once they've given it? Or will they ring up later to try to persuade you to stay?

I disagree, O2 seem about the cheapest out of all the networks. Take a look at Vodafone's extortionate 4G prices. I'm leaving them probably for O2.

...how did you get that?!

Mine was the same deal : £53 a month with 20gb data, 2 year contract on O2 Refresh but with NO upfront fee - my 16gb iPhone 6 was free!

I had a look at these earlier and it states pre order? Assume they are being shipped now though?

Cheers for the link.

Hmm you'd expect it to be first come first serve with regards to it being delivered on release day, she might have been just covering herself. I remember two years when I upgraded to the iPhone 5 through O2, and they didn't have enough stock so CPW took the orders instead and I got my 5 on release day then.

Well I'm ordering the 16GB 6+ CPW site says delivery still expected for 19th for that model other variants have slipped so hopefully i'm still set for a release date phone :)

Am I the only one doing this?

Bought iPhone 6 16GB outright from Apple for £539

Put in Three SIM only plan - £10 per month:

- 2GB of tetherable 4G data
- 200 any UK mins
- 300 3-to-3 mins (you don't normally get this with the deal, Three added it in for me)
- Unlimited texts

Total cost over 2 years: £779.

Seems like i'm on the cheapest plan here :D

I kept their unlimited one plan with unlimited tethering for £15.

It going to cost £1060 over 24 months for my plan + the sim free iPhone 6+ 64Gb i reserved at apple retail this morning.

Not sure how this compares to buying it on contract, but i couldn't loose the unlimited tethering anyway.

Doing exactly the same! Except I got the 64GB so +£80.

In-Store Reservation

Does anyone who has reserved for collection in-store have any details of the reservation on the Apple website?

I received a confirmation email but if I follow the link to the store (included in the email) and select cancel or change a reservation, which normally lists any reservations you have, there are none listed. Is that the same for everyone?

I am on that One plan too - its by a distance the best value for money tariff around IMO (or at least was around, not sure its truly unlimited data anymore). I plan on sticking with it as long as I can anyway. Don't let them entice you into accepting their free 0800 numbers add on to your contract also, as by doing so you are accepting their new terms, that no longer offer truly unlimited tethering.

Have you read the comments/reviews ... too cheap to be real anyway.

Cant find any good Plus cases. Anyone know of anything thin that cover the whole phone?

Thanks

I ditched cases and skins last year for my 5s. I've had every iPhone since launch, mostly black but i switched to white last year.

I've treated the 5s much worse than my black ones and you can't see any scratches at all on it.

After the plastic back 3G which scratched up horribly i've always put cases and screen protectors on. Black does show scratches by my white/silver looks brand new.

I honestly cannot see any scratches on it, maybe i could with a bright light source and holding it at an angle.

Anyone else having any problems viewing their order?

"We're Sorry.

It happens periodically, nothing to worry about.
If it keeps appearing try and view your order via the Apple Store app.

I never use cases also but spending 699 on a phone I think I may end up using one, plus it will be easier to drop cause of the size.

Maybe ill go naked but who knows.

I can beat that.... ;)

iPhone 6 64GB bought outright, for which I'll pop in my 30-day rolling sim-only package from Three.

£12.90pcm gives me:
200 mins
3000 3to3 mins
5000 texts
Unlimited data (inc tethered data)

Handset was £619. Sold my mint 64GB 5S via gumtree last night for £430, so my total outlay is £189 for the handset.

That makes the total cost over 2yrs (if you want to look at it that way) just £498.60 :D

:D absolutely, i've already briefed my wife never to accept a change in tariff for a freebee. She's on the same tariff as me too.

I also highly rate it and luckily it looks like we get to keep it unless we amend. Unlimited 4g data and 4g unlimited tethering. win win all round.

Using a case will kill you, don't become one of them... Spend hours deciding the colour, admiring the curves and then cover it up anyway. It's sacrilege mate.

Never used a case on any iPhone and don't plan to start now.

Got a 64GB 6 in Space Grey via the AppleStore website this morning, says delivery will be the 19th

Thanks, just saw another thread about it. I wouldn't have been concerned if it hadn't coincided with my bank's "anti-fraud" guys giving me a call this lunch time. I've been able to log in since and everything looks ok.
