Would be very helpful, I move to Uni on the 20th so I'd only have a day - and a very busy packing day at that - to receive it and set it up.

Ah, good luck! I know what a pain it is!
I start year 2 on Monday - luckily I don't have a class on Friday so I can wait for my new phone!

Just a random question, when they bring apple pay out in the uk do you think having a case on will interfere with it?

Likely not, with my Android phones, NFC works fine with case. However, if you have a thick battery case, it could be a problem.

P.S. quick test with my phone and Bluetooth hands free shows NFC works with 1 to 1.5cm of space in-between.

Anyone know of a silicone case of the 'soft' type? I don't like the plastic/harder cases as they're too harsh on the phone over-time

I'm basically looking for Apples silicone offering, without paying Apple's price tag.

Anyone seen one?

Thanks!

Just spoke to 3 about an upgrade. Told them I'd go think about it then call back.
Now on the phone to request my pac code from them.

I use about 1.5gb - 4gb data a month. For their unlimited data, mins & texts they want £60/month plus £19 upfront cost.

Vodafone via CPW are offering 7gb data, unlimited mins & unlimited texts for £48.50/month & £129.99 upfront. (also get 24months of spotify).

The monthly cost is more important to me.

My iPhone 5 on O2 was £23 a month with £199.99 upfront cost, but the prices for the iPhone 6 on O2 seem ridiculous. The same contract is now £38 a month - are they mad? I just hope Three are reasonable.
