So... The 25th.

I bet that messes up everyones plans of selling their iPhones to Envirophone.

I predict the Apple store crashing approximately 1 minute before the pre-orders go live. Saturday is a fairly bad choice, for us anyway, in terms of it will be busier.

Not fancying my chances of getting a 25th model :(

Hmmm i think he's guessing or making it up lol

Pre orders normally start on Friday after announcement, cant be saturday, plus following all the rumours they point to Friday 11th.

Few rumours have said pre order Friday 18th and release 25th but i guess we're less than 48 hours away from knowing the exactly.

I never trust retail staff. They know no more then we do. Besides the 12th is Saturday. Apple never puts up preorders on a Saturday. They always do them on a Friday so he is most likely wrong.

Opps epic fail....!

Yeh thats true, the only thing i can think of to increase chances, is set up you card details on the Apple store app, then refresh like mad and order!!

Thought pre-orders would start on Friday like they have done in the past so i lent money off my sister as i don't get paid till Saturday and now pre-orders are starting Saturday lol, typical!

September 25th though, over 2 weeks to wait! :(

UK prices

6s - £539/£619/£699
6s Plus - £619/£699/£789

Pre-orders confirmed for 8:01am this Saturday

Will update OP when the forums are less glitchy

No mention of battery life or RAM either. Hmmmm. Unless I missed it?

Good point! Or dimension difference. I've heard they never mention battery capacity or RAM specifically! You just have to wait for the year downs after release.

RAM isn't mentioned at all on the tech specs page?? http://www.apple.com/uk/iphone-6s/specs/

EDIT: it isn't on the tech specs page for the 6 either, so how do you know? I'm guessing we assume it's 1GB like the 6?

EDIT:
They don't usually post that in their spec sheets. You'd have to wait for a teardown to be done to find out, or a leaked benchmark test result. Essentially the only difference is the OIS in the Plus models only and the screen size difference. The battery life is supposed to be the exact same as last year's model.

I did notice on the website they list "HD video playback" time under the battery stats instead of just "video playback"
