Shame the Plus has got heavier now I'm not so sure about changing to one as weight bothers me more than the slight size increase.

Apple have never mentioned RAM in their keynotes and I don't think they've ever officially mentioned it in their specs list. They tend not to define speed and specs in terms of RAM, except only through their new 'A[X]' chip, with speed improvements benchmarked against their previous chip. You'll have to wait for a teardown or benchmark test to find out. Someone will probably find out soon though.
Started to get worried when I saw the taptic engine piece below the battery thinking they had shrunk the battery. But seems to be the same size. Well it will supposedly last as long looking at the comparison page.
Luckily still have my iPhone 5 so when I ship my 6 plus off I will have a phone for a couple days. But I do hope envirofone offer another 7 days that would be great.

Same with my 5s - no longer available in gold or 64gb!
Maybe I'll see what can get on eBay before my deadline to send to Envirofone expires!
It makes sense though that they reduce the variations of older models for production.

The pre-order last time was a shambles and I ended up using a tool a guy on here put together which let you see which which stores locally had available stock for reservation and collection. Had a few late nights waiting until midnight for stock updates but it was worth it and I got the phone quicker than most that pre-ordered. We'll see how it goes on Saturday.

Hey all, does anyone know if Apple pre-auth the payment straight away? I wont have the money in my account until next week but wanted to pre-order, how'd it work last year? Can I pre-order anyway if I know for sure the money will be there come shipment?

They don't charge you until dispatch. However if you pre-order they will put a temporary hold for an amount. They want to make sure you have the funds before starting to process the order. You most likely will have to have the funds when preordering.
Will have to see Vodafone's pricing before I attempt to order on/around 08.01AM Saturday.

Mine is now £12pm 2000 mins, unlimited texts and 5gb 4G with ee (Retention deal)
Am with EE so will call them and try to get this deal as my sim only contracts ends in the next few weeks. I could do with a tad more data very occasionally. Wish tariffs included some picture texts - would be better than resorting to Viber when send pics to those not on iMessage.
EDIT those just remembered I can get discount through my work on Vodafone so will check their tariffs before I call EE.
I think I'm going to pre order the 6S+ in silver. Currently have 6 in SG and quite fancied having a + for a while now. Hopefully it's not as frustrating as the watch pre order with massive delays. Last year I was able to reserve and pickup on launch day, fingers crossed for same again!
Bummer about the 25th as I have 2 weeks from today to ship to envirofone. Was hoping for release next Friday, 18th.
They apparently do extend their offer by 7 days according to other posts here. If that's the case you should be OK. I'm in the same boat.
Sorry if this has been mentioned already, this thread seems to be getting big quite fast! Under the what's in the box section it appears the 'old' style 5w adapter is being shipped with the 6S instead of the folding one we have seen with the Watch, seems odd to me.
