and I was about to post saying my battery life seems better since iOS9

Mine is great. Have been up since 6am, checked emails went to the gym, downloaded and listened to podcast and music. Had my Apple watch tracking my workout, got back, done my usual stuff and still at 83%. Pretty chuffed with that.

Right here's one for you.

Has anyone successfully used the "Alternate Delivery Location" feature of UPS MyChoice? Where they will deliver it straight to a nearby convenience store if you're not home.

I may or may not be in when the iPhone gets delivered and I really can't stay home unless I want to miss my own Wedding. So I'm hoping that this feature works!

It will work but any ipad only apps you have obviously wont download. I would recommend after the setup that you perform we settings reset. No data will be lost, your game saves will all be there. Just helps keep things clean.

Cheers

Re: iOS9, my ipad4 is showing 16 apps needing an update, then all 16 blink to say 'open' (yet it still has the bubble stating 16 need updating). Closed app store, rebooted. Still evident.

Ho hum.

Try doing a restore from iTunes not an upgrade!
I've been on the GM for a few weeks now and battery has been fine.
I never do an upgrade though, always a restore then restore from backup!

I have noticed mine seems slightly worse. Not that noticeably worse though. If it bothers me might try what you say. I didn't update OTA I did it through iTunes.

Who do you think Apple will use to ship? I remember when i got the 6 it came with UK Mail and same with the 5. Any chance they switched to UPS in most places now?
I think that a lot depends on what the item is and were you live. Any accessories I have bought i.e watch straps cases etc all seem to come by UK Mail. All my phones, iPads, MacBook came by UPS.

Be careful what you wish for. I had a parcel delivered to a UPS pick up point earlier this year. What a fiasco. When I went to pick it up, the guy behind the counter was not a native English speaker, or reader. He couldn't read the names on the parcels they were holding so he just randomly picked up parcels saying "you?" until we got to mine. Then he couldn't use the scanner so just got me to sign a piece of paper. At the end of the UPS collection window the parcel was still showing as awaiting collection. A few weeks later I received another item since I guess UPS must have put a claim in for a lost parcel since it wasn't there when the driver would have gone back for it.

Personally I hope never to have to use this pick up point again. Not sure I'd like a new iPhone being looked after by them.

I can't be 100% sure, but usually you can change nothing about Apple deliveries. Also congrats on the wedding :)

My 6 Plus came UPS last year so I don't. think there's any way to know, unless they use different services in different areas maybe?

I had the same problem, I got around it by rebooting the iPad and then as soon as it started go into updates and immediately hit the "update all" button, it's visible for around 2 seconds before it greys out and the "update" changes to "open" next to the apps.

yeah mine too only in the Change Storage Plan though; the actual available storage hasn't reflected yet:confused:
Have I missed something?

I'm on the 25 gig tariff, will I get switched to something else?

[Edit] - as I said, I'm on the 25 gig tariff at £7.99 per year and the next one up is the 50 gig one at £0.79 per month (£9.48 per year).

My renewal was last month, so I've already paid for a year's storage at £7.99, so presumably if I move to 50 gig, I've pretty much paid for the next 11 months anyway?

I tried that but update all wasn't appearing as clickable. Ended up leaving it alone and all the update buttons reappeared.

Smooth.
