UK iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Thread

can't wait till monday then the countdown really will be on

thinking if the phone arrives early morning on friday will head to apple store to see if i can pick up the apple watch too.

Wow going all out then, I had the watch from launch sadly I didn't get on with it therefore returned it shortly after, maybe in the future though

More money than sense

Tempted by the mini 4 for on the go for travelling too but depends if I think the 6S plus is enough for me size wise as I don't really want to take my air 2 on the go. Too big really. Will just use it at home
 
I've just received a missed call from an Irish number, after googling it I found out it was Syncreon...

I am seriously worried now!

I have an iPad Mini 3 and not sure if I'm going to upgrade to the 4. Unsure on how much use the Mini will get if the I can do everything I want on the 6S Plus. Reading is going to be the big test.
 
Just got off the phone and apparently my Apple order will be with me today before 6pm!

Now, I bet this is my cases and not the actual phone...

Yeah that's my biggest question mark. .due to 6S plus is it needed? Certainly when mini 4 would cost me £43 a month

it really is. i currently take my air 2 to work but due to size it can be a pain but the mini would look less obvious. i would watch basketball on nights and football at weekends so it's good for that and when travelling. so that would be my main usage.

my only question is would i stop using my air 2 at home if i got the mini 4

When I went to pick it up, the guy behind the counter was not a native English speaker, or reader. He couldn't read the names on the parcels they were holding so he just randomly picked up parcels saying "you?" until we got to mine. Then he couldn't use the scanner so just got me to sign a piece of paper. At the end of the UPS collection window the parcel was still showing as awaiting collection. A few weeks later I received another item since I guess UPS must have put a claim in for a lost parcel since it wasn't there when the driver would have gone back for it.

Personally I hope never to have to use this pick up point again. Not sure I'd like a new iPhone being looked after by them.

Yeah, I'd second this. My local UPS driver has on multiple occasions just dropped the parcel at the alternate delivery location without even trying my address first - I know because I'd been in the entire time waiting for the parcel, received no card or notification other than the UPS Choice notification - otherwise I'd never have know the parcel was there.
I'd certainly not trust the alternate location near me with nearly £800 worth of Apple gear!

I had an Air 2. But as soon I bought the Mini 3. I stopped using the Air completely. I dismissed the Mini for a couple of generations, but it's been great and I still use mine every day. iPhone 6 and iPad Mini 3 I think it a great portable combo.

Yeah I get that...think from a money point of view I should stick with my air 2

As I'm sure the 6S plus will do me fine for on the go
 
I ordered a Watch last Friday, turned up via UK mail this Monday, was able to track the drivers drops, so hoping for the same with the phones.

I'm glad you're having no issues with them!

My Silicone cases have been despatched on Monday and couriered via UK Mail, the delivery was supposed to be for Tuesday - they have not turned up. The delivery was rescheduled for Wednesday - the delivery was scheduled for 14:33-15:33. They haven't turned up as I had to leave the house after 5pm and the delivery was attempted at 18:01 when no one was in. On Wednesday my Leather cases have also been despatched, via UK Mail too of course with a scheduled delivery date for today. The scheduled time was 14:56-15:56. Needless to say I am STILL waiting for them to turn up.

Even had Scynreon ring me to advise that they'll be delivered before 6pm today! Unfortunately, I need to leave in about 15 minutes and I doubt very much they'll even show up today!

Why so much issues? Do you live in a remote postcode?
 
Really jealous that UK don't have the iPhone upgrade program yet :( seems amazing and I would deffo opt for that
 
Wow, that was a long week! At last, my last day with that crappy Motarola. Can't wait to get back to Apple tomorrow! What? Next Friday? It's only been a day with the Moto? Nooooooooooooo!!!! I can't go on for another 7 days!!!!! Doh!

Can't believe that I can still reserve a 6s for in store collection for release day! Feeling better knowing if I don't get on with the 6s+ I shouldn't find it too difficult to pick up a 6s in store if I choose to downsize
