If you want a decent price you do need to sell asap, even if it means you have to use an old phone for the next week.
The closer to release day the lower the price will be (and it will really drop after release day).

Well spotted. My heart did miss a beat though!
The problem is there's so many on there at the moment. Mines being listed on Monday 7 day auction. Buy it now never works for me. Someone was going to buy it at work, but that's fallen through.
Same thing happened to me when I ordered my watch.
Loads of people who ordered round the same time as me had the money taken, and moved to preparing for dispatch. They then received tracking numbers and their packages shipped from China!
I still had nothing, then on the Thursday, I got tracking info and it was being shipped from the UK, by UK Mail.
Unfortunately UK mail screwed up the delivery twice and I had to go and collect it on the Saturday!
The point is, that even if you don't see movement till next week, it could still come on Friday (as long as UK mail don't screw it up!!)
I only just relisted mine yesterday but before that I had 3 watchers but it seems none of them wanted it enough to buy
As I've said before, try Gumtree, I sold my iPhone 6 on the first day of putting the advert up. Free advert and no fees, it can be much better than eBay
.Me too. Luckily I have a decent price from Envirofone locked in until the 29th, but I would rather sell privately as the phone is immaculate (6 SG 64GB) and accessories unused. I have it on Gumtree and Preloved but no takers.

A place I used to work, we actually had a situation where a delivery van's engine went on fire and essentially blew up on the motorway from England to Scotland - the looks people were giving us when they got irate about us not having their medication and I actually started telling them "look the van blew up on the way here, if I had it I would give you it". It calmed them down and took the fight out of them!

I sold mine off someone on AV Forums. Have a look in the classifieds. You can put it up for sale there or, as in my case, someone was looking for one. Worth a go.
Bear in mind if your new there they'll want you to post the phone first. But it's a great friendly forum

UPS MyChoice is a joke. When I got my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 Plus last year both times I used MyChoice to request the package be held at the local depot which is a ten minute walk from my work and both times they tried to deliver it on launch day which was Friday. There was no one at home and I ended up having to wait till the following Monday in both cases to get my package. Both times I was told I should have phoned. What is the point of having an online request option if they don't honour it. This time I'm going to do the request online but also call them to confirm it.
Considering these things aren't exactly cheap (it's Apple so no surprise there) I'm a little disappointed there's no ledge or any type of support behind the Lightning connector. Not sure I like the idea of that tiny bit of plastic taking all the weight and stress of holding a £700 phone up. Especially if you try and 3D Touch it while it's charging. I'm not sure I'd like to even try and swipe to stop an alarm while it's on it. Unless it's a lot more solid than it looks. I hope so, I was thinking about getting one until I saw it close up here.
Well, Yes you're right. I've been a well known member for 8 years or so. And yes, the buyer needed proof of who I was and clarification from someone else off the forum.
True..I share your concern. I would have liked some kind of back support too. Although I can say that the piece is solid enough to support the phone, I can definitely say you won't be able to use things like force touch while docked. I have sold off my 6+...only have my 5c to test trying to use it while on the dock. Wouldn't recommend it. At least for me, it would be good to dock it at a safe distance so that I can see any notifications and summon Siri where possible to reply to text, etc..
