I've heard nothing from O2 since the initial email confirming the order. The email directs you to "track my order" but clicking the link it says yiu have to log into my o2 to see it but when you log in there is no link to tracking. If I click on upgrades it comes with your upgrade is in progress.
Will have to call them to find out if delivery is still on the 25th as it stated when I placed the order. O2 have dropped the ball as far as keeping customers updated.
Just found the order....can't view it on the app. But when you click on it you get "This information is not available at the moment. Please try again later."...... what does that mean? Only 3 full days before delivery (supposed) and they can't tell you anything?

I called O2 about this and they said that they don't know when they are getting the phones, all they can tell people is that they will get their phone "within the next 5 weeks" regardless of when they ordered.

How have they? When you pre-ordered you knew the phone won't be released until Friday, they would have told you this when you pre-ordered as well. You have tracked your order status and it says 'In progress'. The order is in progress, they can't release it until Friday which you already know about. There is nothing else for them to say, the phone won't be dispatched until Thursday at the earliest, what more do you want? An exact live location of it?
To be taken to a tracking page that isn't broken might give people the confidence that their order is going to be taken care of don't you think? Even if it just said "we've got your order" and wasn't an error message

Within the next 5 weeks?

Imma gonna go postal. Which isn't something they're looking to do by the 25th.

You clicked on the upgrade bit and it said 'in progress'.

You just need to relax. Your iPhone is sitting in a warehouse ready to be dispatched on Thursday. If 02 turned around and said that your order cannot be garutneeed for Friday or that you weren't getting then, then yes fair enough.

Look at it this way, if I can order something from Amazon or NEXT just before I go to sleep and it can be delivered to me when I wake up, then surely your iPhone that you ordered a week and a half ago will be dispatched to you in time after it has been released for dispatch on Thursday. Until Thursday comes there is nothing anyone can say about the status of your phone, it hasn't been dispatched yet, hence why you don't have tracking details.

Well... my case just arrived! This thing is MASSIVE.

Could you post a full picture of the case, front and back? I just opened my Brown Leather 6s+ case and it's scratched at the front, and the leather crimpled on the sides. Not sure if this is how it's supposed to be!

So has anybody taken out apple care this year?

It's not the sort of cover I usually go for but even less so at £109 for 2 years cover (I'll trade in for iPhone 7 so only need one year) PLUS the excess is £79 for accidental damage claims. Besides our phones are covered via our bank account. Excess is £100 for iPhone claims but I am already paying for this cover as part of my monthly account fee (along with AA, annual travel insurance, home emergency cover, etc) it would be crazy to shell out again.

Can't post a pic because I'm out now, sorry. I don't have any scratches on mine. As for the crimped leather at the side - do you mean on the interior of the case where the leather meets the cloth back? If so, I think that's meant to be like that.

Looks really nice. What colour of iPhone is it for?
Space grey!

I'd be happy with £500

£500 is the ball park figure for your 6 128gn, which you paid £699 for new.

I paid £699 for my + 64gb but also had £79 worth of Apple care + in the deal and got £490 for it locally. Most people were offering me £450 and that was before the 6S was announced.

In light of the fact yours doesn't include Apple care plus and the 6s has now been announced, I'd say you'd be better pitching it at £450.

If you can get £500 on eBay, that'll be £450 in your pocket or a little less after fees.

Why don't you try advertising on gumtree at £450 and hedge your bets? Amongst all the wasters on gumtree there are some genuine buyers. I sold mine within 5 days of advertising to a guy who lived a mile from me!

No, it's on the edges, see for yourself:

The problem I see with this case is there is no front protection, like there doesn't seem to be any sort of lip that could protect a drop on the face. This has come in handy in the past!

yeah got 3 of theirs

will use the crystal clear one as main option..but got gun metal too
I ordered the crystal clear and it does have a very small lip. I also went for the resilient one which has better corner protection and a bigger lip.

How much storage do you have used currently?

Not a huge amount admittedly but I aggressively purge photos and videos. Even though I have iCloud Photo Library. For some reason I can't bring myself to trust it will actively manage and optimise storage if it gets filled.

Like I say, it's probably just self doubt ahead of the launch. I know it will be fine but now want the bigger phone. I'll get over it :)
