My experience with EE and 3 is that you will not know anything until it is shipped. Which means with next day delivery late Thursday evening.

Only then will you know if it will come Friday. I know it's frustrating but you can't honestly expect some clueless person at a call centre to know when it will arrive if it doesn't say on their system.

+1 except to add that if clueless person's system says 'picked' then your delivery will be sooner rather than later: they already have it in hand and reserved for you.

I was told 25th to oct 23rd but that they hoped to deliver on the 25th which is completely different. I can't see how it can be that difficult to order stock, pre order sell that stock and then tell you what day they will have the stock in their warehouse.

I did say other companies are already shipping devices out and why Three had mixed/different dates given out and not any stock at hand. So frustrating !

Hopefully they will get some stock come early but seems O2 and EE are hogging them :p

Off topic, again, sorry but anyone that's updated to watchOS 2 recently is it still downloading really slowly?

Mine has been trying to download for a good 3 hours now, and still says 30 minutes left (originally said it would take 2 hours)
I updated mine over night. Not sure how long it took but it's been updated. Pretty sure it was quick though.

Anyone know if you can track orders from Apple.com that are still in Preparing for Dispatch? The US people seem to be able to use their phone number on UPS but I can't make this work at all...

I was late to the party but I think I've been lucky as I didn't order mine until Sunday 20th (direct from Apple UK) and it still said delivers 25/9 for the configuration I wanted and all the other models were sold out, But shorty after I placed my order it changed to 6th -13th Oct for delivery. But all is looking well as my debit card has been charged & it's preparing for dispatch and estimated for Friday delivery.

Nothing on my uk Apple.com order.
Still preparing for dispatch, and nothing using telephone number on ups.com

No totally, I'm not blaming anyone but I love tracking things lol. Not knowing if I'm gonna have my new toy on my week off is a killer!

Im wondering if it will be worth going to a Three store on Friday morning and seeing if they have stock spare... surely they will have some aside for people walking in without a reservation? Then I can cancel over phone.

I just cant wait much longer lol

I think a number of people had issues when it was released yesterday. If you check out the Watch section here you will see threads posted about it. I guess I was lucky. I updated yesterday at 7pm and it only took me 20 minutes to download and about 45 minutes to do the update process. The Apple watch updates seem a lot more cumbersome then iPhone and iPad updates to begin with and this one unlike 1.0 to 1.0.1 especially so for some people.

Definitely worth a try but depending on the model the odds are against you.

iPhone 6S + 64 GB Space Grey - Hopefully.

But willing to pay £5 more for 128GB...

Annoying thing is my neighbour used to work at Three but he's now moved... coulda asked him for a favour lol.

I know that Apple keep some in reserve (of all models and colours) for the few who have imperfect sets. A couple of years ago my 5s had a small screw protruding out, next to the lightening port. Their site showed all sold out or reserved but they exchanged mine straight away, I think it was the same day. I don't think 3 or others will do the same. I bought mine from Carphone Warehouse. They said that they'd have to send it off to Apple or I could take it into their store, which I did. Great customer service (Apple)

Reckon if there's any Saddle Brown you could pick me one up and I'll pay by PayPal? :D I'm an hour away from my nearest Apple Store

What model did you get?

No. Doesn't work. You need to wait for a tracking number to be posted on your online order details. I have no idea how the Americans have been able to do that.

Ah right thanks - might as well have a lay in the and just be patient... hopefully Three will get their act together and get some stock lol.

Just annoying seeing other Carriers shipping already and I upgraded as soon as preorders were up.

What happens now if you ask siri for hint?
I think the cats out the bag now.
