Don't get your hopes up. I'm preparing for the dispatch notice tomorrow.

Hopefully my cases come today. Ordered three spigen cases for £2.99 each. Ordered on the 10th one came last week the other two got dispatched on Friday. It is a ridiculously long wait. Want to try them out on my 6+ see which I like the best.

I can't believe we have these same conversations every year!

People, your phone's "status" is almost irrelevant.

The release day is the 25th, if your Apple order says "Delivers 25/9 in most areas", then you'll get it on launch day.

Those who have ordered through O2, Vodafone, EE & 3- you must surely be aware by now that these companies offer the worst levels of communications (ironically) to their customers with regards to orders.

If you're lucky, you'll get a "Shipped" email tomorrow (Thursday), but I've seen many people getting their phones before their emails!!

Keep calm and carry on, your new toy is coming!!

PS-I'm not excluding myself from the madness, I have an 8.30am reservation booked for the 25th, but I'll relax when the model I reserved is actually in my hands and not a moment before! :D

Mines now been assigned a consignment number from DPD, wasn't there late last night. No movement in terms of locations however!

We should be getting an email some point today with tracking or they HAVE to give it to us tomorrow so we know where the iPhone is on Friday

if your iPhone isn't be delivered on launch day they don't have to give you anything. They will give you details once its been trunked from the main hub to a local depot....

If you have ordered directly through Apple we will get a tracking number tonight or most likely tomorrow. Clearly the phones are already in the country and are most likely being sorted by sycreon as I type to distribute them to the couriers who will be delivering them to us on Friday.

I seem to see a lot of people saying this but if you have 25/9 delivery it will get delivered on 25/9 unless you live in one of the post codes Apple says won't deliver on time too.

Wise words. Every year people fret unnecessarily. Barring some major natural disaster you will get your phones on Friday! :)

I saw a UPS van out my bedroom window . . .

I head a knock, my heart skipped a beat and I ran frantically downstairs to open the door -

The driver said oh sorry I've got the wrong house . . was looking for number 6.

I tried my upmost not to look upset but didn't do a very good job and pointed him in the right direction :(

Never had a dispatch confirmation from apple or had an early delivery in the last 4 years for that matter but still got overexcited for no real reason lol

Not even sure which courier will be delivering my iPhone yet, in the past Apple have used either DPD where you get a one hour time slot or UPS where it can land any time through the day (normally between 2-3pm with UPS)

We all know this, but I think the fact that we don't use the same system as the US and can't track them all the way from China brings out "tracking envy" in many of us. Pity we have Syncreon between China and our direct order phones :D

Those of us who've ordered via carriers are even worse off since there's yet another middle man to deal with

Still no movement. What I find weird is the status keeps changing from Preparing for Dispatch and Preparing for Shipment.

Probably just a language bug in the load balancer setup, but weird none the less.

I'm not doubting you, but have Apple ever used DPD?

I know the Vodafone et al use them, but I wasn't aware Apple did (I'm referring to full price iPhones purchased unlocked from Apple).

I think my phones have always come via UKMail, although my Watch came via UPS.

Mine says to be delivered on launch day so they kinda do have to deliver it on day now especially when I ordered it 3 mins into when pre-orders went live
