If I remember right, wasn't it last year Three were one of the carriers that didn't even get preorders up on their site until late in the day or even a day or two later?
I find Three great if all you want is a SIM only deal and no messing about with phones. Although to be fair, I don't think any of them are much better. Had bad experiences with Vodafone in the past too when it came to upgrading.
My SIM deal is actually discontinued now but if I wanted a 6S Plus 64GB I think it worked out the phone alone over the two years would effectively cost over £1000 over what I currently pay. Buy outright every time now, with the freedom to - as I've done this time - upgrade a year early to jump onto the S cycle for a bit.
Spoke to EE finally, phone has been picked so should be arriving on the friday or monday at the latest, hopefully friday.
Good luck with that, all of them have either been preordered or you will need to get there very early for store stock
I ordered exactly the same as this on Saturday 8.10am, 6S 64Gb Sim Free from Apple Store UK using the Store App on my phone.
Mine is currently PFD, although it already shows up in my support profile.
I rang o2 and was told I am with UK mail and they haven't assigned me delivery code yet but should be shortly. Was also told they won't be getting phones with them till Friday early hours and then will be dispatching them then. Was also told they have done more orders this year than last.
well, i don't mean on the 25, i mean like a week later or something.. i have no experience with this and i might have a friend in the UK at the time..
You possibly got through to the South African Call Centre, they know nothing. The phones will be delivered from Friday, they already have the phones, that's why i have an imei number. Some delivery companies already have the phones from O2, UKMail is one of them, I have a tracking number.
Im sure there will be a nightly reservation system, you go to the Apple site between 22:00 and 00:00 and try and reserve what you want at a specific Apple Store for collection the next morning.
Free stock that you could just walk in and buy took a few months last year iirc.
Same here. 2 6s 64GB SG: the first at 8:05 and 8:10 the second through the app. PFD and showing in the support profile. Hopefully we'll get some news by tomorrow early morning
Yeah same here, it's on my Support Profile too. And the order does say that it delivers on Friday 25th. Are you worried at all?
yeah I ordered direct from them. They told me the iphones had been shipped from the factory and tracking numbers will be given tomorrow when the phones are assigned to the couriers
No, I'm not worried. I'm confident it will be here on Friday. I actually know the driver from DPD, and see him nearly every day, so he knows to bring it to me asap
It was a UK call centre as the lady was English I spoke to and very helpful. Did you get the IMEI number when you called them?
You gotta appreciate the volume of calls they'll be getting with exactly the same question. For what it's worth I got my preparing for dispatch email on Monday, ordered the previous tuesday (19th I think). No communication before that, though they took the money.
All at once I got two emails from my carrier confirming an account set up and the CPW note.

Of course I could be reading a tone here that didn't exist but my final question would prob be "And do you give a ****?" Did they not even manage to confirm they had your order?
True but they could at least attempt to give less short, kind of abrupt answers (again maybe just how I read on screen)
No it can takes weeks or months depending on the model you want - hence everyone here going a bit crazy about the preorder!
